Bajaj Electricals — bajaj frio cooler

My family bought the product bajaj frio cooler from a local shop instead of amazon or other e-commerce app. The sound is painful to the ears and no it's not a technical problem. The product itself is built as such. We want to return the product and get the refund.

Can anyone suggest how to return this product? The shop that we bought this from told that it cannot be returned and at the most can be exchanged for a different product. I don't blame the shop guy as my family didn't bother to check the return policy. However, since the product is used by an elderly person, it has become a nuisance rather than a device to aid rest and sleep.

Can anyone suggest how to escalate this at the highest level and ensure that the product is returned?
