Until 10th june, the metro station was operational without any issues. Passengers would park 2-wheelers in the area opposite station and collect the vehicle once their work was complete.
Today morning there were a group of 8-10 boys standing at the road entrance, holding a ticketing machine and asking every 2-wheeler to pay 30 rupees for parking in a public road!!
When questioned, he said bmrc has installed this plan and it is there in every metro station. Which is completely false, because i checked every other station on that route and there are no people collecting money.
T. Dasarahalli being one of the most crowded stations, some people have decided to rob the public of their rights to use a public road and park vehicles there (And let me assure you, that the parking is completely unobtrusive to any other people or vehicle movement).
