[Resolved] Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation [BMTC] — bmtc squad bullying innocent passengers | |
I was traveling from agara junction (Sarjapur road) by city transport bus no. Ka-57, f-3332 I boarded this bus on agara junction (Sarjapur road) on 8th dec'18, 5:40 pm and sat in the very first seat so as to get the bus ticket for which i took out required amount of money and kept ready in my hand. But the bus conductor started issuing tickets from backside and was about to come to me when the ticket checker entered the bus at sarjapur junction. The distance between these two stops is approximately 2.6 km and it hardly takes 5 minutes to reach within which the conductor failed his duty of issuing ticket to me. When the ticket checker inquired me and as i can not speak local language i tried to explain the whole matter in english and hindi and every possible way to the ticket checker but he instead o[censored]nderstanding and cooperating with me as a passenger, took disadvantage of the fact that i cannot speak local language and a single girl travelling alone and tried to bully me by threatening to take me to nearby police station and file fir against me. He stopped the bus at marathalli police station and started troubling me by calling unauthorized people goofing outside police station in order to harass and pressurize me. He went on further and called out two lady constables to pull me out of the bus and take me to the this police station. Meanwhile he did not take any such humiliating action against bus conductor or driver and i find this is nothing but conspiracy to loot innocent passengers. Besides knowing that i'm innocent the conductor did not utter a word or tried to defend me as his passenger. I'm highly disappointed due to faulty and inappropriate transport service bangalore provides. I'm an it employee and i was going to attend an unofficial corporate meeting and because of this unfortunate, unnecessary and humiliating incidence i was late and mentally disturbed. I do hereby condemn the bangalore bus transport service and the ticket checking authority for mistreatment. Furthermore i want to complaint against the respected bus driver who was totally negligent at driving and caused minor injuries to several passengers because of his rash driving. I was charged with 170 rs fine. I have attached the copy of receipt below as well. I need full refund of that money and kindly grant me compensation of rs.1000 for causing mental trauma and harassment. Also please take necessary legal actions against the ticket checker, two lady constables, bus driver and conductor for providing third class service and pulling down the reliability of bmtc.
