[Resolved] Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board [Bwssb] — sewage leaking and flowing on the road since 5 days

Sewage is leaking near the manhole and is flowing onto the road since 5 days we had lodged a complaiint and also contacted the concerned engineer who said he would send his team but till date no work has been taken up nor have his team showed up. A few weeks ago the sewage of a high class restaurant was overflowing due to which some people had opened this manhole and cleared the debris but now this pipe seems to be broken and the sewage water is flowing into the crevices and loose spots under which the drinking water feeder and distribution lines are placed. This could lead to contaminating the drinking water supply.

After constantly calling the concerned Engineer, they came and cleared the drain but it looks like a temporary fix because the damaged drain is yet to be repaired. The sewage that has leaked onto the road from the broken manhole has seeped into the surrounding and the only way now is to lift the debris and sludge to avoid the smell and reconstruct the drain.. However, I'm thankful that atleast some action has been taken
