[Resolved] ACT Fibernet — refund issue, bad customer service | |||||
My User ID is 10513555 with ACT Fibernet. Last month I accidentally made 2 payments, first through Citrus LazyPay App for rs. 796.60 on 11th Feb '18, but I didn't receive a transaction confirmation, hence I assumed the transaction was failed so I made another payment of Rs. 800 on 16th Feb by cash through a local shop's paytm. (It's a common thing that they do here in our locality). The shop address is Nagarjuna Enterprises, no. 6 Horamavu Agara Main Road, Prakruthi Township, Bangalore 560043. Their number :[protected] Later when i received mail from Lazy pay for the amount they already paid to ACT, I fwded their email to ACT, explained them about 2 payments and clearly i requested them to refund one payment that was made thru Lazypay on 11th Feb. and keep my payment as a subscription for that month. Ignoring my request, instead heir billing service incorrectly, carelessly, refunded the payment that i made by cash on 16th feb, to the paytm of that particular shop, which is in no way related to my ISP, or my phone nos that r associated with the ACT Fibernet. They refunded the money without even verifying me, or by calling my number, they just simply refunded to that shop. Meanwhile I was getting constant notification for the pending due payment by LazyPay. So I called ACT's customer care. the first agent understood, he placed me on hold to see what he can do, never came back to the call for almost 20 mins, again I called, again I explained, again I was put on hold for another 20 mins, this is going on for a week. today I received a call from their billing section, but she was helpless too, She could'nt give me the phone no to which the money is refunded, she couldn't find the number first of all, instead she told me to contact the shop, which I did, the shop accepts the payment that we made thru them on 16th Feb, but they deny the refund made by ACT they say. They deny abt any refund from ACT. I m confused of what to do. Either ACT can contact them, get the refund, keep it for the next month's bill, or let them give me a proof of the refund that was made to that shop's paytm, so I can show it to them as proof, get my money back. every-time I call i get this reference no [protected] for Rs. 800 on 27th feb, this number is in no way of help to the shop to get my money back. either they ACT can talk to the shop or give me the proper number to which the money is refunded, I'll contact them and get the money back. ACT provides a worst customer service, every time I call i was put on hold, they couldn't help me, and careless of their customers, I wish someone get back to me on this issue, I m just tired of calling their customer service that is[protected]. PS: Meanwhile i paid Lazypay from my own money, as they were threatening me with constant notifications of my name going to the credit bureau. Was this information helpful? | |||||
