Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] — Not Disconnecting Landline Service even after request

The request for disconnection was made and accepted on[protected]. The disconnection should have been made in January as conveyed by BSNL. They have not disconnected the landline service till now in March and the service charge of Rs 272 is still deducted from our account as ECS monthly. After calling the helpdesk number [protected], they said that the disconnection cannot be made from their side on customer care phone number neither they have registered the complaint and asked to contact the exchange directly or visit the exchange. As the local exchange service providers dont pick up the phone and our residence has shifted to another city, we are not able to again ask for the disconnection.
