I am a regular big basketer.. But for the past 5..6.. Orders it was the worst service i have ever experienced anywhere.. I was patient and kept ordering believing it will be better next time and that is my big mistake..

Every delivery i had to fight to get it to my doorstep.. It's like i am in a war for food.. I order.. No one delivers.. When i call they say delivery boy was at doorstep no one home.. But i will be home the whole time.. Again.. Delivery boy called no switched off.. Where my phone will be on the whole time.. Even in that case i called up customer care and updated my alternate no for situations like these.. But not once i have got a call to it..

And as per their wish they keep changing the slot and cancelling the order without checking with me.. We choose a slot because that's the time convenient for us.. Most o[censored]s are office going and if they change the slot as per their wish who will be at home to receive this order?

Then the items which are delivered especially fruits and vegetables are rotten & worms started coming out even if i keep it in the refrigerator immediately and use it the same day.. This happened thrice..

Latest incident: i placed an order around 5.30pm on 10/8/18.. I chose the delivery slot 10.30am to 1pm (2nd slot) for 11/8/18 by mistake.. I immediately called up customer care to check if the 1st slot of the day is available.. They said it is and they have placed a request to change the time to 1st slot.. Also i will get a callback to confirm.. I particularly said i don't need a call back since i am calling from the registered mobile no and i am the one who placed the order.. Also i would be in a meeting during the callback time they mentioned.. But he said it is their policy and they cannot change the time without callback confirmation.. I understood and also gave this guy my alternate no incase if they say my mobile is switched off.. Also my payment was not complete due to some incorrect information on my side (Credit card) hence my payment was pending..

As expected after 2.5 hours and no callback.. By this time i completed the payment.. Then i called up customer care to check if the slot has been changed.. The fellow said that my phone was switched off after trying several times so thy couldn't change the slot.. I specifically told them my phone was on and even then i gave an alternate no but i did not get any call to that.. He said ok mam i will cancel the order.. I said do not cancel the order.. Even if you can't change the slot it's fine but deliver in the initial slot itself (10.30 to 1pm). Seconds after that i get a message saying my order is cancelled upon my request and the amount is in bigbasket wallet..

How smart big basket is to message me this minutes after my payment??!! They think customers are fools. Now no delivery and my money is stuck with them.

I again called up explaining the situation for the 100th time.. They said the same story and they can reprocess the order but will be delivered only by 12/8/18 and 2 items are out of stock..

These items going out of stock should be mentioned when i ordered itself and the customer care fellow cancelling my order without checking with me is not my fault.. I escalated the issue and told the same story to a senior executive.. I specifically mentioned that i want the time slot i mentioned initially (10.30 am to 1pm) with all the items i mentioned or i am going not going to use big basket anymore and i need the amount in the wallet credited back.. He said i ll get a call back in 10min with a solution..

2 hours went by.. No call.. So naturally i called up to customer care.. They said i will get a call back in 10min..

The call finally came.. He said i will get the delivery in the initial slot (10.30 am to 1pm) but the items out of stock cannot be given.. The money for that will be credited to the big basket wallet.. Also the slot in the record is 4pm to 7pm on 11/8/18 but i don't have to worry about that as the delivery will happen as promised in the 2nd slot itself.. I got tired and i said it's fine.. But i want the money back to my account as i don't want big basket holding my money.. He said it will be done..

Needless to say.. It's 11/08/18.. I have been waiting from 10.30 am.. 1pm came by.. No delivery..

I curse myself for being patient with bigbasket and giving them chances every time they screwed up.. I learnt my lesson..
