[Resolved]  Bigbasket.com — rotten product delivered, and also charged for undelivered products

Ref. Attention of mr. Hari menon please

I take this opportunity to bring to you kind notice the following:
I made a purchase from bigbasket online purchase vide statement no. Bmi[protected] for rs.4, 846.90 and the items were to be delivered on 4th october between 7. Am and 9.30 am.
It was in respect of the following items:

9. Fresho avacvado green 3 2.1 kg 438.90
10. Fresho kiwi green 3 3 165

11. Np coconut oil 6 1494
12. Stayam taj patta 3 34

13. Kra coconut oil avacvado green 3 1 60
Grand total

Rs.4846.90

1. Out of the above items 1 to 6 were wholly rotten and decayed. I am taking up this matter with food and safety commissioner of maharashtra and commissioner for food and drug administration.
2. Since the materials 1 to 6 was rotten i refused to take it. Then the delivery boy said i should call customer service, and they will arrange for pick up. Out of the above items 7 to 8 were not delivered at all. Even item 9 and 10 were rocky kachcha and i wanted the same to be replaced

3. Then i called up and then the delivery boy said he will deliver it in the evening. Then he delivered the two items

4. I called up customer service again, they said they will collect it next day.

Next day again i called them, they advised me to send them photograph of the rotten items and they will replace all of them on 7th october 2108.
On 7th october 2108 they delivered me item no.1, 4 and item no.6. Through they brought avacdo and kiwi, both were like stones and wholly unripe and i refused. Even the avacado and kiwi lying with me was returned to the delivery boy on 7th october 2018.in fact it was your deliberate ploy to delay the matter so that you thought the customer could be illiterate and would forget the issue so that your deliberate intend to cheat becomes successful.
5. Thereafter every day i have been calling and mailing you, you were just avoiding and delaying the matter.

6. I have got some messages where you said you credited rs.603/ rs.885/rs.146 has been credited. I don’t know what it means. Then today ms pallvi rang up to say that they have reversed all credits. I will be charged fully for rotten items and for items not even delivered.

7. All these days there was no issue and i had faith in bigbasket. But suddenly you have become a big crooks and cheats, cheating in delivery, cheating in quality and even supplying criminal acts like selling rotten and poisonous items and to create an atmosphere to deliberately delay the delivery. I shall be forced to take up the matter with appropriate forums so that no more people are cheated like me.

8. I take this opportunity to give you seven days notice asking you to correct yourself failing which i shall be forced to resort to appropriate measures to protect my interest at your entire risk as to cost and consequences failing which i shall be forced to seek justice to protect and enforce my interest and also stop your public loot at your entire risk as to cost and consequences. You shall be fully further be liable to pay all litigation expenses together with interest and also for mental harassment too, breach of trust and dealing and selling rotten items which are likely to spread contagious diseases.

9. Regarding avacado and kiwi.

They were delivered on 4th which i returned on 7th.
On 7th what the delivery boy brought was too kacha, kacha kacha and unripe and that too i returned with result that you gave me credit of rs.603/- which is now snatched by you. That means you collect rs.603.90 from me but no delivery is given. It is rather outright cheating. It is rather an extortion. This is great from ms. Pallavi. When she sends a message to me and say short delivery, will you please explain what is short.
