I had booked an order of assorted food products (Soanpapdi, namkeens and ready to eat packets) vide order no.[protected] on 13th feb 2018.
Received delivery next day with shocking contents as under:
One product (Khokha bhujia sev) was expired on the same day!!
One product (Palak paneer) was expiring very soon.
One product (Shahi mixture) short quantity - 2 pkts of 400gm each, while payment was for 1000 gms as sold on their website.
Some other products were manufactured months earlier with short remaining shelf life.
Further all items were just dumped in an oversized carton which has damaged/crushed the contents of soft namkeens. The packaging is very poor and unfit for transit by air.
If above was not bad enough, the worst was to come. After sales service. Several complaints bounced back with a message mailbox full. Then received an email on 17/feb/2018 informing "this is to inform you that replacement has been resent yesterday. It will be delivered with in 2-3 days". This proved false as nothing was received and they were evasive to provide tracking number.
After further reminders, on 23/feb a lady informed 'it was not sent before as her manager hasn't signed release paper yet' and they will provide tracking number by close of day. This has again proved false as not received any communication and neither they have bothered to reply my messages since.
I suspect the remaining products will also pass the best by dates by the time they resolve above with such delaying/misleading tactics.
Our reason of buying from them (By paying exorbitant courier charge) was to receive fresh products in original and good condition, after their watching their glossy website. As food is perishable and affects health, it is surprising to see such attitude from a manufacturer.
If we cannot get satisfactory replacements by monday 26/feb/2018, we would like to return back the whole order and expect a full refund from them to resolve the matter.
