Billdesk — upi payment got debited but bill payment was not processed

Dear sir / madam

I made our electricity bill payment for nov 2018 through online platform provided by mseb itself on 1 dec 2018 https://billing.mahadiscom.in/paymentpage.php and than scanning qr code given on the next page (In upi option).

Following are the transaction details
From: vaidehi vaibhav ghag ([protected]@okicici)
Issuer bank: icici bank
To: indiaideas ([protected]@icici)
Google transaction id: cicagkcigstgjw
Upi transaction id:[protected]

My transaction was cleared immediately in google pay app but not reflected in the mseb account. I waited for 2 days but didn't get any notification.

I got the refund reversal in my bank account after 48 hours
Got reply to mail from their customer support next day as follows

Thank you for writing to Payment Gateway Support.

This is with reference to your e-mail dated December 03, 2018, regarding payment reversal.

We have checked the records and confirmed that refund for Rs.3480.00 has been initiated at bank end on 03.12.2018 through Transaction Id: PIC[protected]. It will take 5 to 7 working days to credit the amount in your account from date of Refund.
