[Resolved]  Blue Dart Express — Amazon order not delivered and Blue Dart staff giving pathetic excuses

I have made over 25 orders in the last few months on Amazon, and this is the first time it was shipped using Blue Dart. And for the first time, the delivery has not happened, with the reason being provided as "Consignee'S Address Unlocatable/Landmark Needed"!!

None of the other deliveries made by the other delivery services never had a problem with my address. And it is not that I live in some remote place which is not present in a map. I live in a large apartment complex with over 500 apartments, which is 200 meters from Outer Ring Road in Bangalore, and the best part - it less than 500 meters from a Blue Dart branch! And even if you do not know the area, it is easily found on Google Maps, if you have a bit of common sense.

I got a call during noon from an unknown number while I was driving and I called back as soon as I got out of my car. I got an automated message which asked me to contact Blue Dart customer care - no text messages or any information about the number to contact. I found the number on the internet and gave a call and the status message was that the shipment is out for delivery. I also spoke to the customer care agent to be sure and he informed me that he will contact the delivery person and ask him to contact me again in case of any issues. He also promised me that the item will be delivered before the end of the day.

I waited the whole day, and in the evening I get a text message which mentions that the item is undelivered due to address related issue. On checking the AWB tracking link, it shows the message "Consignee'S Address Unlocatable/Landmark Needed", which is a pathetic excuse for not wanting to do your job on time!

I call the customer care and a very rude lady named "Sujatha" makes it a point to inform me that it is my mistake that I did not answer the call when the delivery agent called me. Me calling back soon and the other customer service agent informing me that it is still out for delivery does not matter to her at all. On asking why the address is not reachable and what further info is needed from me, no answers! Apparently it will be delivered again later and suddenly they have all the info they need to deliver the next day.

I asked why the address could not be located, when it is so close to a Blue Dart branch, she said that the delivery happens from a warehouse in Whitefield and not from the branch near my home (the location of which she clearly knew, even without me telling her). Then I asked why someone couldn't find it on Google Maps or with a simple search online, her rude answer was that they cannot provide GPRS phones to all delivery people and that I should have picked up the call when they called! How can someone be so rude on customer care and still be working there, is completely unknown to me. I told her that everyone doesn't need to have GPRS phone, if the manager at the warehouse can Google and provide the address, she retorts back with the statement "the managers don't do the delivery"!

I am not sure what I am more frustrated with - their careless attitude towards delivery, or their absolutely pathetic and rude customer care agents! I do not understand how these people can call themselves a logistics company, if they cannot find such a big apartment complex in the middle of a city like Bangalore?!

How do they work? Send some vehicles on the road without any addresses or directions and hope for them to find it by luck? Can't they even give info about the delivery locations to the delivery people, before they load the item onto the trucks and is sent out for delivery?

Absolutely pathetic service from such a large player and simply the worst and absolutely rude customer service! Never again would I use their services and I would request Amazon as well to stop using Blue Dart for future shipments!

Nothing was done by the company specific to this request. Another delivery person simply came for the delivery on another day, without even reconfirming my address - proving that they never had a problem with my address! Pathetic service, all over.
Blue Dart Express customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

I have placed order on amazon on 2nd december . I got message from blue dart on 7th december that you wiil get delivery today. but i didn't get any delivery not any message or any call from them. I wait
for 3 days, after three days i call on blue dart customer care number. they replied that tomorrow it will be delivered . but nothing happened . after that i call them daily and they reply tomorrow will delivered . this process continue for 5 days and one they said that we tried for delivery but customer is shifted other place . I said myself customer and I don't shifted anywhere . I also said them every time that if your delivery boy face any trouble to find my address than he can call me for help i have already given my mobile number. but after this much followups I don't get my parcel till today . now I want to get my refund but I can't find any provision for this anywhere on amazon or blue dart . so please help me to get my refund back of Rs.2690 . please help me to get my refund back
I ordered an item on Amazon which is shipped through blue dart. Today evening I received a message as item delivered but it is actually not delivered yet. Tracking Id is [protected] .
