Blue Dart Express — fraudulent service | |||
Dear concerned, This is in ref to my recent online order of product from an online portal and like any other online e - commerce i had booked the commodity. The process was done and i was notified with a booking id and the courier was supposed to be delivered to me by blue dart. Closer to the date, i checked the status and on 7th oct 2019, and it was last updated on 5th that the add is an educational institution, and this was from blue dart sangvi branch pune and i haven’t received and call or msg from blue dart regarding the same. I checked called up sangvi branch, on land line, then he said i am not audible and one of the executive called me back from a mobile number +[protected], then he call and the person verified my details via tracking id (Way bill no - [protected], bluedart). After presenting the details, the person asked me to share the name of the bank where i’m holding my account. The person thereafter sent an encrypted message (Sms) (Enclosed attachment) to me and asked me to resend the same message to him within 10 seconds on [protected]. I found this unusual and asked him the reason for asking me personal bank details. The person said if they require it for documentations and customer profile creation and if i don’t submit the details and that encrypted message, my product won’t get delivered. I disconnected the call and then the same person constantly called me for the next 15 mins from same no and one more no. [protected] along with that he even sent me few more encrypted messages over sms from different no. I did not respond.in the evening, my brother called on the same number numerous time but the person deliberately disconnected his calls. This is in all likelihood a fraudulent person with all intentions of committing a cyber crime. I have still not received any update in regards to my product as well. Anyhow, with such experience, i would never prefer and recommend blue dart where i can have a threat to my assets. The entire idea behind writing this email was to notify the authorities of blue dart. This should be investigated properly as it may dilute your reputation as there are many customers who don’t even report the matter to the authorities.
