BMW India — engine complaint reported by/s. platino classic cochin | |||
Sir, I had purchased one bmw 5 series (520 d) in august 2011. The vehicle was under service warranty for 5 years. All the services were performed as specified till date at m/s. Platino classic kochi. Last week one lady called from them and offered a free check up for the vehicle. After checkup they told me that the turbo of the vehicle is damaged and it will cost approximately rs. 2 lakhs to repair it. My car has done hardly 90000 kms only and i could not understand how a engine gets damaged so soon. I was told when i purchased the car that the engine would have no complaints up to 5 lakh kms. I cannot afford to run the vehicle spending so much money. I doubt about the genuineness of the defect. So it is humbly requested that the said defect may if any may be rectified at your own cost. The vehicle is at the workshop of m/s. Platino lassic and until a solution to the problem i am not ready to take back it from there. Thanking you and awiting an early response N.
