Bombay Hospital — regarding theft by hospital staff nurse and staff workers

Address:400020

Location: i c c u 3rd floor

My dad was admitted due to urinal tract infection and paravalvular leak. His haemoglobin was less and therefore we were required to transfuse blood for which the nurse intended two leucocyte blood filters which cost 3400 per unit.. But after purchasing the same it was found dads condition was stable and currently there is no requirement of blood tranfusion. And the purchased leucocyte filter was under their custody. As days passed by, dads haemoglobin level went down and doctor advised for blood transfusion. Soon the nurse contacted me and again asked to purchase the leucocyte filter. Kindly note i had already purchased 2 units of the same and was under the their custody. Now, the nurse is telling me there is no such units available with them.. And the same is not seen anywhere in my dads shelf... I am sure this nurse or the housekeeping staff has taken it or sold it to a consumer... Its a clear case of theft... These nurses are trained to do such stuffs i feel... I have the bill of 22nd april in which i bought 2 leucocyte filters and after that till 30th april 2019 my dad was not given any blood transfusion and it was on 1st may where the icu ward nurse asked me to get the leucocyte filters which means 2 units costing 6800 has been vanished.. But under helpless situation i had buy it again on 1st may 2019 and 2nd may 2019 and i have the bill for same... I thought nurses are godly people with full service oriented mind, unfortunately my dear friends the nurses who treated my dad were not of such nature and were only money oriented... But this is clear case of theft.. Out of sorrow n financial crisis i am reporting this.. Hope someone take this notice and provide me justice!
