Booking.com — cannot put refund back on credit card

I received a refund of approximately $500. The money was put into my wallet on booking.com when i try to put the money back on a valid credit card i keep getting notices of a technical problem. My card is perfectly valid. I have used it for several bookings with this company. Now that i prefer not to use it towards another booking i keep getting technical problems try again. I have talked to customer service several times and have even tried re-entering my credit card. This is my only credit card. I am becoming suspicious that i am being undermined in order to prevent me from withdrawing the money. The company does not have one person helping you with the issue and keeps referring you to other customer service reps. Please do not use this company and go through the hell i am being put through right now.
