BookMyBai — no maid replacement and not returning money

We approached bookmybai for nanny services and they were prompt to bring a nanny for interview. We liked the candidate and confirmed if she has any constraints and would work for at least 6 months. Post her confirmation we went ahead and paid the agency 1 month of her salary + gst.

The nanny joins next day but keeps on getting offers from bookmybai to join somewhere else with better salary and then from 2nd day itself she starts coming late, doesn’t work at all and completely different attitude towards the work. This shows clearly that the maid and agency are very well coordinated in cheating the customers.

Finally, within 1 week the nanny decides to leave and we approach bookmybai for immediate replacement. After multiple requests nanny agrees to work for few days’ notice so that bookmybai can arrange replacement. Its more than 20 days now and bookmybai is not able to arrange replacements even after multiple follow ups every day. The nanny finally leaves after 15 days. Bookmybai who has already taken full month salary and not able to provide replacement for 20 days is not responding to our refund request instead threatening us if we are not paying the nanny salary first they will not work replacement or refund and give a police complaint against us. Finally we decided to go ahead with the complaint and put an end to this.

After facing this type of harassment, i finally decide to read bookmybai's reviews online and quite surprised to see they are actually a fraud agency who has duped multiple customers with similar scam. I request everybody to be aware of this fraud company and not at all engage with them.
