[Resolved] BookMyShow — total lack of professionalism on the part of bookmyshow

This has reference to booking - gxck[protected] made today morning. 8 tickets were booked for 3.10 show at gmax kollam by paying rs 1346. I along with 7 others which included my parents, wife, daughter, brother & his family reached the cinema hall before 3 pm & informed the booking clerk about my booking. The booking clerk seemed totally confused & instead of directly giving me a response, went & spoke to the manager mr govind. The manager called me inside & without even a trace of regret told me very bluntly in an impolite manner that the show had been cancelled as there were less than 15 people for the movie & as if doing me a favour told that my money would credited back to my account by bookmyshow in 10 working days.
Neither bookmyshow nor the office bearers of gmax kollam should be under the impression that those who come to watch movies are all fools & would digest any rubbish dished out without blinking an eyelid. When i booked ticket in the morning, more than 4 rows were already booked / occupied which meant that there were atleast 32 people for the show at the time of my booking in the morning itself. So for mr govind to state at 3 pm that there were less than 15 people for the 3.10 show obviously seemed to suggest some other motive for cancelling the show. And though mr govind was not willing to acknowledge, the reason was quite simple. Mr govind very conveniently rescheduled the malayalam movie for which i had booked ticket with the english movie - avengers as there were more viewers for that movie. It is really difficult to fathom as to how your system works. Does it work according to the whims and fancies of people like mr govind who can cancel /reschedule a show for which payment has been made without even assigning any reason or informing the customers before hand. And as far as bookmyshow's professionalism or rather lack of professionalism is concerned, the less said the better. Cancelation information for 3.10 show is given at 4.58 pm.
And as i have mentioned above, i don't require your oft repeated standard reply stating that my money will be recredited in 10 days. I don't require a favour from you for getting my money back. It's my right to get back the full amount of rs 1346 debited from my account for booking the tickets. Please note that i expect a full refund of 1346 including online booking charges, gst etc.in case of any deductions, i will not hesitate even for a second to initiate appropriate action which i deem fit. Please note that this is not a veiled threat but an open warning.
