[Resolved]  BookMyShow — Very late confirmation of the booking

I booked the ticket for the movie baaghi on[protected], 7:45pm show for PVR Prashant Vihar, delhi
But did not recieve any message or mail till half an hour so i spoke to the bookmyshow customer care, they told me that there is no booking on your mobile number. Then i booked another ticket online form PVR Prashant Vihar itself. When i was on my way to the movie hall i got a mail and a message 10 minutes after that from bookmyshow regarding the confirmation of the tickets. Now i entered the cinema hall around 8:00PM as i was already late and told the story to the person who checked the ticket telling that i have two tickets for 4 people each and we are not 8 people watching the movie.
Then after the movie i discussed the whole scenario with Sanjay(Duty Manager, mob.[protected] so to confirm that only four people watched the movie.
My bookmyshow ticket has not been scaned as i used my PVR Cinemas ticket.
So kindly provide me the refund in the same account i paid with or else i have to carry this complaint to the next level.

A confirmation SMS/E-mail was sent on the contact details entered while transacting and would be unable to refund the said transaction. To avoid a similar incident in future, recommend you to sign in and then transact on the website. This would save your booking details in your 'Booking History' which is a very useful feature for all our users who sign in while transacting. You can also use the 'Resend Booking Confirmation' option on our website. Wherein all you need to do is enter your email id and contact number enter while transacting and hit send. I tried buking 5 tickets of cricket match on 21 may 2016 between gujrat and mumbai through bookmyshow on may7 2016 .at 2.50 pm .my account in sbi by internet banking debited for rupees 5499.10 transfer to inb avenues india pvt ltd but got d msg tht tkts not bukd payment failed kindly arange to refund my money

i was booking a IPL match in kanpur GL vs KKR i was booking 3 tickets and my payment is debited from my account but i din't received any information from BookMyShow. and my deebited transaction number is FYBK[protected] BOOKMYSHOW kindly solved my problem as soon as possible

Ideally the amount does hit the account within 5-7 working days or 10 working days in case of nationalized bank.

Please quote the above mentioned reference code to your bank and then cross check the same with your updated bank statement for the mentioned period and assist us with the screenshot of the statement in case of any discrepancies.

Unfortunately, when a booking is confirmed on our website, the seats are reserved at the cinema and are deemed sold.

Since, online bookings are confirmed transactions, tickets once booked cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded from our end.

Also, there is no provision wherein we can make any modification in show date, time, movie, seats etc which are already confirmed.

Keeping the cancellation norm in mind, it would have been an opportunity for customers to bring a smile on their dear one's face by gifting those tickets.
