Booknamechangead.com — name change advertisement not displayed in newspaper duped with the amount of rs 1720/- | |||||
I wanted to advertise an ad of my name change because my name is misspelled wrong in education documents and i had to apply for a passport. I logged on to www.booknamechangead.com and paid them rs 1720/- for the advertisement and provided them details of my correct and wrong name. They provided me with the confirmation that the ad of name change will be displayed in times of india (English newspaper) and andhraprabha (Telugu news paper) on friday 8th of june 2018, but shockingly the ad never appeared and when i tried contacting them via phone : +91 [protected] and email : [protected]@booknamechangead.com no one responds. I booked my name changed advertise on 30th October, 2019. I logged on to www.booknamechangead.com and paid them rs 802/- (including GST) for the advertisement and provided them details of my correct and wrong name. They provided me with the confirmation that the ad of name change will be displayed in Free Press Journal (English newspaper) and Navshakti (Marathi news paper) on Thursday 31st October 2019, but shockingly the ad never appeared and when i contact them, they said it is rescheduled for next day (1st November) and I had not received any communication. When checked on 1st November again the add disappear. I had booked appointment in Passport office on 31st October, then again rescheduled on 1st November. Now because of add not come in newspaper I could not submit it in passport office. So the reject my application. Then again i had to fill passport application and had again paid fees for blunder mistake by this company.

Hello, I got my name change done for my daughter who is a minor from booknamechangead.com and they did it fantastically. it was no problem as for minor there is a different ad matter. I would recommend this website. I dont know how others experience was but mine was good. All the best.

I had booked advertisement for change of name in newspaper of first may and also booked the newspapers for same.
BUT the advertisements were published in the newspapers on 30th April . I had arranged the newspaper copies of 1st may and with obvious reasons did not get my advertisement in those .
I still haven't received one of the copies of the newspaper i had ordered through the agency despite many telephonic reminders. All the money spent in the procedure has gone in vain. I got my appointment from the passport office for 10th of June which will have to be rescheduled because of the carelessness of the staff.
I will not recommend this company.

HI Shaili, I believe your issues was sorted and cleared much before 10th June (Your passport appointment date). We hand delivered the copies at your doorstep without taking any extra charge. We requested you to remove the negative comment but you have blocked our number.
We respect each and every customer but once your work is done, you must have a curtesy to not to block our numbers.
