[Resolved] Britannia — 100% whole wheat bread or COLORED bread? | |||
On 17.04.2015, I purchased a packet of Britannia whole wheat bread, which I opened on 18.4.2015 . The first 2 slices of bread were brown, the ones below were partly White . The white portion progressed to the bottom of the packet . This shows that the bread is WHITE, but just colored to make it appear as whole wheat, at the price of 100% whole wheat bread . I am from Ahmedabad. I buy Britania 100% whole wheat regularly. The label proclaims 100% wheat. Ingredients say Wheat flour 62%. what is the other flour you use to make it 100%? what is the catch. Why dont you be clear and honest? Please be specific.

Recently purchased Britania Brown Bread (wheat) and sensed sand particles while eating/chewing the toasted bread. The lot number is 32 HEP. The bread is purchased from a local vendor in Kharagpur area. Britania, such a gaint company, should not have done this; the locally made breads are much better.
