Britannia feedback no - 45897 National consumer forum complaint no - 106294 Name of product : cheese spread roasted garlic Lot no : pf2b 21:17 Mfg date : 02 jun 16 Exp date : 9 months from date of packing (02 feb 16) I had procured the above mentioned product from d-mart mall, nadiad (Gujarat) yesterday (On 18th december, 2016 @ 06:58 pm) At home when we opened the pack, we found that the cheese is not up to the mark of the eatable quality. Physical observations : water extracted over the cheese spread, small round lumps were in the condensed cheese below water Smelling property : it seems like got some kind of fungal growth into the product Packaging property : intact pack, not damaged Pl It had been mentioned on the pack that it will expire after 9 months of packing the product which will be the 02nd of feb 2017. But considering the above the product got bad very well before that expiry period. It is a great matter of concern that the product of britannia became “unstable” very well before of the expiry period. Pl find attached herewith images regarding the product and purchase invoice of the same. We believe that britannia is a such a brand with which this kind of experience is almost near to impossible and thus we are eager to hear from you asap. Pl look into the matter and do revert back regarding the solution for the said grievance from our side. P.
