[Resolved] Britannia Industries — Date of packing | |
Dear Sir, I would like to report an issue which was seen on the label of Britannia Good Day Biscuit pack.The date of manufacture on the packing is printed as 14/07/2017.How can this be possible?As we are going through the month of March 2017 how can a biscuit be manufactured in the month of July 2017?After this issue how can a consumer trust the information provided on the label.I hope that the matter will be taken into concern. Verified Support Mar 30, 2017 Britannia Industries Customer Care's response Dear Leah Anna Abraham, With regard to the wrong PKD (14/7/17) on Good Day Cashew pack, we would like to clarify and confirm that the manufacturing date of the pack is 14/2/17. This error has happened due to misalignment of the coding machine, where some digits have moved one row up, because of which the actual date which was 14/02/17 looks like 14/07/17. This is a rare occasion where the packs have escaped the stringent rejection process and entered the market. We regret the same deeply.
