Airtel Broadband & Telephone Services — Connection not given. Money not refunded
I applied for a Broadband connection on 29th Sept 2012. A representative from Airtel came and took Rs.699/- from me and I filled CEF no. 519134. He promised connection in 24 hrs. After three days, I called airtel and they said they will comeback in 24 hrs. Again I called and they told that they can't give me connection due to some technical problem. I demanded my money back. They created another compliant log in and nothing happened. After 1 more round of follow-up with customer care, I wrote to the nodal officer. Still nothing happened. They called me after a week and repeated the same story. No one is giving an answer on the re-fund. I have demanded them to give me the refund with interest, as they will charge my late fee if I defualt my bill by one day. It is not about Rs.699, but the callous attitude with which Airtel treats the customer is more frustrating for me.Because of this, I was also deprived of internet connection, which is very crucial for me to work from home. I expect their representatives to know connection feasibility before they take money from customers. We are not here to fund for Airtel's working capital. I want my money back with Interest and compensation.
