Dear Sir,

Is there any time duration for railway indicators?

At Vikhroli station, an indicator goes off after 10:00 pm. Any specific reason for this? It causes lot of inconvenience for commuters.

Kindly look into this matter and see if problem can be solved.

It is a very disturbing practice observed at Dadar station. usually groups of commuters blocks half the entry in local train. This is more evident in local trains going beyond Kalyan and moreover in local trains towards Kasara side. these groups make nasty comments towards ladies travelling in slow train on opposit track when the train moving. They do not allow people to get down at Kurla, Ghatkopar and Thane.

It is not easy for the passengers to get down and also enter from just half the entry door, that too during peak ours. It is a very common. I hope the railway police does something to stop this nonsense and punish these miscreants.

I surprised to note that Thane Local Which comes from CAR SHADE KALWA.at 8.29 full of passengers when the train strats from thane how ti is full of passengers at thane only. Who is the person allowing to board in Car shade Kalwa . I will appritiate if you can take precaution messure so that passengers those want to board at Thane can board in the train

    Is there any rule which prevents Railway Workers to travel in the FIRST CLASS COMPARTMENT ?

    Normally have not seen TTE during pick hours. In case they enter into the compartment and ask them, they just say staff and the TTE dos'nt bother to see their I Card or pass.

    I therefore request your goodself to kindly take necessary action for preventing Railway Workers to travel in the FIRST CLASS COMPARTMENT of the local trains.

    TTE AND INDIAN RAILWAYS — non space in first class compartments

    Due to peak hours rush in train there is no place to get inside in the first class compartment. and also the non first class passengers are more innumber in first class compartments. THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS PROBLEM IS THAT THE TTE ARE NOT CHECKING IN FIRST CLASS COMPARTMENT IN PEAK HOURS AT ALL STATIONS, AS WELL AS IN TRAINS.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    This is highlight through the column of your newspaper, regarding the local trains from virar to churchgate being late by 15 ot 20 minutes on a regular basis during rush hours in morning and evening.
    Western Railways have completed work on two additional line between Virar & borivili, new tracks are not being used for local trains, only outstation trains & express trains run on new tracks.

    This is creating a huge inconvinience while commuting on western railways and reaching the destination on time.

    Can the Railway authorities - Explain the reason for this Delay and the step taken by them to overcome this delay,
    - Why two new tracks between Virar & Borilivi not being utilised for local trains.

    Yes this is problem faced by lakhs of passengers traveling between virar & churchgate, Can the railways solve the complaint

    i was travelling in link exp from ddn to allahabad .I got a waiting ticket and tte confirmed it in haridwar. in alighar staff changes and new tte just asked me for money i said i was alloted this seat .he said that go back to that tte who alloted you the seat and ask to him for new seat 1.he just rolled me down from the birth and said i can through you out from the coach.and he told me not to take waiting ticket any more.
    i just want a quick and hard action from the railways to make a good step in stopping corruption.

    I would like to draw your attention to that If any body mistakely board in reversed compartment for Handicapped.(Suggestion : Paint the reserved compartment in strips just like First Class so that the differanciation can be done immediately) the lady TC treats the person so impersonally like she is the one who is our of the doctrine man can make mistake, so rudely the talk and the language used is such that one can even stand, just the other person has some diginity or not, and they are ready to even hit the ladies and children to show that we have made a big offence. Where are they when the daily traveller are travelling without ticket even. I request the management to teach them some decency or with dignity they have to speak to the people and achieve their target to be promoted.
    If this is the way when an educated people speak what can be expected from mavalis (even Mavalis talk in better ways then this lady TC)

    I very much agree that its good that Railway employees hold the privilege to travel free of cost in first class compartments, but it should not make the passengers suffer. I'm a civil engineer working at Chennai and I traveled by West Coast Express to Salem on 22.08.09. I traveled along with my brother and sister. we three were allotted berths at coach F1, compartment H. We all are working and we worked late night and so opted first class to have a comfortable journey. But when we entered our compartment there were already two railway employees. After they got down at Arakkonam we decided to sleep and spread our berths. suddenly three employees came and wanted us to sit. They claimed that they too hold first class pass to travel. Yes they may have, but what right do they have to disturb a passenger who has a reserved ticket???

    They told that sleeping time is only 9pm to 6am and so we should allow them to sit. Who are they to decide our sleeping time? We paid Rs. 460 each to have a comfortable journey. they pay nothing and behave as if they are the authority to decide whether we should sleep or not. After a great conversation they said they will get down in one hour and we shall sleep. But every station some one or the other got into the compartment and we traveled as if we are traveling in Chennai city bus. At Jolarpet a total family got in and spreaded out all over compartment. They too asked why should we sleep in day time.

    What is this?? Can you see this elsewhere all around the world?? Can people just like that get into a reserved compartment and disturb the passengers just because they are railway employees?

    Of course, they shall travel in the first class but should look for a seat which is vacant or not booked by others. Even the TTRs doesn't seem to bother this. I'm really confused where to complain this.

    Please help us to have a peaceful, comfortable journey.

    Central Railway — Increase no. of local trains / coaches during peak hours

    Dear Sir / Madam

    This is to bring to your attention that there is only 1 slow train from Kalyan to Mumbai CST (9.32 am - 9car at Dombivli) between 9.10 am to 9.50 am for Mumbai from Dombivli during weekdays.

    Please note that this is the peak time of travel for people from kalyan to mumbai. Only one train during this period means a lot of people cramping into this one local. This would result risk to lives of all the people travelling during this time in this local. This local is always over crowded and risky to travel in.

    I am not sure why central railway - mumbai suburban railway management has not taken a note of this. I suggest that management should look into this matter immediately & increase the no. of trains during this period OR atleast the no. of coaches for people to safely travel to office. Especially for women travellers in 1st class where the no. of coaches fall short in this train.

    Atleast couple more trains would result in less risk of accidents to the daily commuters.

    Please take a note of this matter seriously & provide a resolution at the earliest.

    Railway Workers — Complaints against Railway Workers Traveling in the FIRST CLASS COMPARTMENTS

    Is there any rule which prevents RAILWAY WORKERS by travelling in the first class compartments of the Local Train specially in Central Railway.

    Please do the needful in this connection and oblige.
    Yes complaint is 100% correct and the Railway authorities should do the necessary in the connection.
    Specially in the Central Railway Local Trains during pick hours, railway authorities should take strict action against them and give relief to the passengers purchase proper tickets and season teckets.
    Railway authorities should take necessary action against the Railway Staff those who are not having proper first class passes or not having authority to travel in the first class compartments of the local trains.
    most of the second class travellers are getting in first class ladies compartments. There should be one TC always in ladies compartments during peak hours.

    I was a passenger from Udupi to Thiruvananthapuram
    (train no 2432,PNR no [protected],27th May 2010,B2 / 0033/ LB)in this A/C compartment no water throughout journey people using mineral water and bottles for their requirements as shown in photo. Compartment passages are with rubbish
    Especially put by the catering department...
    After serving food they are collecting money from each passenger like beggers, again morning the person who is supplying blankets and pillows coming for collecting money.
    Is this is our culture? All the foreigners are watching this.
    Indian railway is not entitled to collect RS 1020 for this type of service,

    I travel in the first class ladies compartment from chembur to wadala. Since the last one year, it has become increasingly difficult to get into the first class compartment during the peak time. This is because the ladies who want to get down at kurla block the entire entrance even thogh there is space inside the compartment. On top of it they shout at those getting in saying that the train is crowded and so chembur people can wait for the Vashi train.
    I earnestly request the railway authorities to look into this matter at the earliest.

    harbour railway — reduction of ladies compartment

    In all trains at harbour route, there is decrease of female compartment. Why railway has given ladies 1st compartment to general? It has caused inconvenience. So pls reserve it to ladies only.
    Yes the above complaint with regards to the subject "Complaint against Railway Workers Travelling in the First Class Compartment" is 100% correct. First thing, i rarely noticed a ticket checker in first and secondly and if they are on their duty, I have also seen that they do not check ticket of railway staff employees.

    hi I am a passenger from Dombivli i want to complaint against a Group of Ladies Who Get On at Dombivili At 8:15 Am Dombivili train, and they are treating as if they have reserved their seats they don't allow others to sit on their seats even if some are coming down from kopar or diva they together fight with them and tell them to stand and between them one fat lady is the leader of them she always sits on the window facing towards CST at second door from driver I request you to please teach them a lesson about all the passengers have the same right to travel no one have reserved seats,

    Railway — Bridge over railway tracks

    We would like to inform you that nowadays at Thane , over railway bridges many crowds are unable to walk over bridge due to small passage / bridge to walk.

    So during train stops , especially at Platform no 10 many peoples are unable to cross or walk at bridges due to huge crowds & small bridges.

    So request you to consider our request to carry out new bridges especially with large capacity of crowd to tackle.
    I wants to make few suggestions for Thane -Vashi/ Panvel Routs.

    1)Panvel fast train should be made slow in opposite direction, i.e. morning from Panvel to Thane & vise versa at evening time. As other wise also it goes empty & at morning time next train with huge gap gets too croweded & makes people to wait unnecessarly.

    2) Panvel Ladies special should run till upto Nerul only, as other wise also it goes empty beyond Nerul & male passenger has to wait for the next train in between Nerul to Panvel. That slot can be used for any other Panvel Local.

    I am booking 90 days advance booking railway travel ticket from Daund Railway booking counter.My Pnr No.is 1) [protected] and 2) [protected].this ticket was not in one coach, my friend booking same travel ticket booikng at same day from Solapur raily booking counter for his Family that is all members in one coach he was railway employee. my family was not travel together on this ticket. this ticket was create problem for travel together.what is this railway policy against paid ticket holders.if I have problem in this tour I am going to Consumer court for this trouble.please change my ticket in one coach without any additional charges

    i am ramesh, went to railway station to renewal of season ticket. the section officer asked me to
    produce income certificate. i also issued as he desired. but now he is refusing to issue the season ticket to me. please help me in this issue.

    Problem 1:
    I here by want to bring to the notice of Central Railway Department that, the people of Kadugudi (Whitefield Railway Station) are facing many problems because of railway. After the construction of Fly over, over the railway track(railway gate), the railway department has closed the railway gate. Closing the railway gate is not that big problem to the people because they(people having vehicles) are travelling on the Fly over. But the people who has to cross the railway gate by walk are facing many problems. Because always the goods train will be standing in the middle of the railway gate. So if the people has to cross the railway gate they have to cross the train first which will be standing very long distance. And the place where the goods train is very dirty, and it is a very big problem for womens, childrens, physically challegened persons to cross the railway gate. And many accidents has occured, because many guys will try to jump on the connected part of the train and some will try to go down side of the train and met with accidents because some time the train suddenly will move.
    So please take some serious action on this. People are cursing the railway department that the Goverment is not " by the people" "to the peole" "for the people" it is " by the people" " to the Govt" "for the Govt". So please help us in this issue.

    Problem 2: Between the railway gate and the Sathya Sai Baba Ashram there is a road towards inside of the village which belongs to railyway department. There is rumour that railway department will close this raod.
    So we request to the Central Railway Department of India that please do not close that raod because this is the only raod towards (Kadugudi) village, if the railway department will close the raod there will not be any other way to go inside the village and the residents of Kadugudi will face many problems. So we the residents of Kadugudi will request the Central Railway Department to please do not close the road

    Respected Sir,

    I hereby desire to brought to your kind notice that when ever we have travelled between New Delhi to Amritsar the conditions of Railway Station, Jullandhar, Ludhiana, Amrisar never seem CLEANED faced foul smell coming in front of railway tracks of the above stations. Waste/use less items have been seen on
    the track, means the above stations are not CLEANED properly being the main stations of Punjab.

    Secondly, I have noticed before the time of departure, due to the carelessness of the staff/Officers concerned all the bogies of Swarn Shatabdi Express trains are also not found cleaned properly, the WASH ROOMS of the said train remain uncleaned.

    The food supplied to passangers remains poor quality. The concerned TTE of the said train neither bother to check/examine the food before supply nor check the CLEANLINESS of the train before departure from the station New Delhi/Amrisar. Why it is not understood.

    Please issue necessary instructions to the concerned Officers/staff/contractors to take care of the facilities of the passangers of all the trains Swarn Shatabdi Express plying between New Delhi to Amritsar to New Delhi.

    Central Railway Mumbai — Ladies 1st Class Compartment

    I am Passenger of Central Railway Mumbai,travelling daily from Mulund to Dadar through ladies 1st Class compartment.The size of the compartment is small as compare to Weastern Railway.In pick hour it's very difficult to get in and stand properly.As more women are working and travelling through 1st Class,Request you to increase the space of compartment.

    There are twoissues
    1. The trains are overcrowded before kalwa stn so kalwa ppl dont get to board the local trains.
    Would like to bring to ur notice that in first class compartment many crowd board in who even don’t carry 1st Class pass.
    These both the above issue are interrelated if d second class don’t board in 1st class the 1st class ppl will be able to board in and due to this they don’t hv to leave the trains by this they can reach office on time why an 1st class ppl hv to face this problem when they pay 6times more then 2nd class pass to the railway Its the railway authority to look in to this matter and try to resolve the problem by deploying Ticket Checker in to the compartment for certain period so automatically the problem will be solved ppl will be aware as tc being in the compartment will nt board the 1st class compartment so through this u can keep a track and even railway authority will earn income if non 1st classer board the train, so two way work is done generating income and Giving relief to commuters.
    As the Railway Authority is very well aware that the sizes of 1st class ladies compartment its too small and in that if second class ppl board in it becomes so irritating as many time requesting you increase the size of the ladies compartment that’s not happening at least deploy an TC in d compartment ...
    2.Increase the trains from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at as its peak hours and office timings are morning only rest time the compartments are mostly half empty so i[censored] can work out on our request it would be grateful so at least work on peak hours
    Pls do something for women commuters as they don’t only look in to office jobs like, they do hv to looking into office chores & household chores so they look into double jobs… So its a request to The Indian Railway (Central Line) Pls look into the matter and try to find some solutions from it

    Central Railway — poor service in first class and very small compartment

    As we are residing in Mumbra i.e Thane Dist. and there is very less frequency of Semi-Fast trains, we are facing a lot of problem to get inside the train and as we are a first class passengers of Central Railway, we have a very small compartment of first class for both gents as well as ladies.If you people want to charge extra you can go ahead but please please provide us a very good service. So that we reach our destination very safely and with good condition of our cloths and shoes.
    Secondly the train which departs from Mumbra station is never ever on time and it operates on fast track from Mulund Station, so what is the use of preferring first class if no such service been provided to us......

    please have a look on above request as we are facing a lot of problem to travel till town


    I traveling kanjurmarg every day, there is major issue at moring. Lots of rush is creating on foot over bridge. It is taking almost half an hour to cross stair case. More then 70% of passenger are crossing the line, which is very dangers to his life. This issue is since very long and no positive action is happing from railway side.

    Today I have visited to station master and found that Main station in charge is not on duty. As per attended (Mr. A. K. Manke) he will will be available after 11 o'clock. As per Mr. Manke, Multiple time they have given written application to senior management, but nothing is happing. He is refuse to show show written application to me.

    As a temporary solution, I have requested Mr. Manke to put 2 RPF to manage the lod. But surpriser I found that no RPF person was on duty at that time. As per them only 1 RPF is alloted to kanjurmarg Railway station.

    At 8 o'clock his duty was over & reliever was not available till 9.45. THIS IS VERY SERIOS CONCERN. If something go wrong in station, no body will be available (Main in-charge as well RPF person).

    Lots of miss management is happening on kanjurmarg railway station.

    Central Railway Local Services — Peak Hours Train Late

    Hello sir,

    I am travelling daily from Kalyan to Thane. But I saw every day the train is late by 10-15 mins. Also if the train leaves kalyan station on time then also it stops midway betwwen station which results in delay.

    Kindly look into this matter.

    This new Central Railway's Harbour Line between "KARJAT TO CST" has been ready long since and is just waiting to begin. Who then is going to give this new route a "GO" to begin, is it the Cheif Minister or some other top dignatory who currently due to busy schedules are not available to commence this new route.

    Is Central Railway's Harbout Line aware what is a mis in not starting this new route from "KARJAT TO CST" its simply laziness and who damn cares about all the commuters of that route who are needlessly going arround the world just to reach their prefered destination on this harbour line. Will this Central Railway's Harbour Line Authorities and those to whom it concerns are simply toying the fact of a care free life when it matters the most to them who are desperately going to make the best of the option of this route to their office and back and also use it for important dates. The Central Railway seems least interested and cares less about millions who are goin to benefit from this new route

    Of recent all those who are anxiously waiting for this new route are the most dis-satisfied and torchered lot of commuters, who just dont know where to vent their anxiety. This is all after the hap hazzard burning of the signals at Kurla have suffered the most, as they had no other options but to stay back at home and idle away their time. This is a very big loss not only to Central Railway's but also to all those who missed out attending office. One day is ok but what about three days of missing office due to such badly managed delays.

    Finally all this goes down to just one priority question left for the Central Railways Harbour Line to answer and stand up and except the blame that they are not doing enoug to curtail issues but simply are worsening the gravity of all these issues and greviances. The only final solution is to begin this new route from "KARJAT TO CST" with immediate effect and calm down all the commuter suffering due to this lack of feasibility.

    I am a regular first class traveller (first class is for paying four times fare.facilities nil.) from dombivli to dadar.i hate to travel nowadays due to the overcrowding.i had hopes of travelling in good shape after the new timetable from15th oct 12 as there was big news (in all possible newspapers)of increased no. of fast trains and 15car trains.But alas, it was highly disappointing to see the new timetable.There was no 15car train during the morning peak hour(8.00 am to 9.00am).On top of it, many trains have a new halt at mulund.This is a harassment for Dombivlikars. Following r my genuine requests to central railway:
    1. To start 15 car trains during peak hours.
    2.To start fast trains from dombivli.
    3.To fill the long gaps between the trains during peak hours.
    4.To expand the first class ladies compartment.

    This is a very genuine and humble request on behalf of all dombivlikars.
    Ur authorities can observe the situation during peak hours and if possible try to travel in them to experience the grave situation.

    In Vikhroli station Platform No 1 All Three AVTM machines & All Coupon Validation machinewere not working since last so many days and no railway authority trying to repair it. The Long ques are there on platform no 1 for ticket but Station Master or any one trying to repair the AVTM or Coupon machine.

    I was traveling in Dadar Local on 25 october 2013 because some problem in overhead wire train was halted between sion and matunga station at around 7.50 pm. We came to know that wire broke around 8.05 pm. We called GRP to get help but all in vain. I was in train till 8.35 pm . Around 8.35 pm we shouted for help from ongoing fast train to CST but that went without halt. Later one more local came we shouted but even that was running but I guess because of signal it was halted and I jumped from my train and boarded that train. All other ladies wanted to do the same but they are helpless. No police officer came to help them. All other compartments were empty, only ladies were there in the train.

    My suggestion is, if any train halt in between stations after evening then some other train must be halted to its parallel and all passengers should be helped by GRP to alight that train. As it too risky to be in stationary train in night in such a vacant area.

    I hope you will take this matter very seriously.

    Dear Sir,

    Travelling during peak hours in the morning from Dombivli is an ordeal is a known fact. However, railways a few steps by railways by factoring the new demographic situation can help . For instance CST - Kurla service is a waste . Why not introduce Kurla - Kalyan/Ambarnath services in keeping with the new situation after the introduction of Metro services .

    Dombivli has been accorded terminus status 20 years ago . However, not a single fast train runs from Dombivli in the morning . If fast trains are introduced from Dombivli, people of Mumbra/ Kalva will be the biggest benifiercy .

    Request that the small steps be considered for implementation .

    Am a daily traveller of harbour line local trains morning 6 o'clock from PANVEL TO CST and return 8 p.m. In this route condition of train are very poor and major problem is non punctuality of harbour local train. In a month 4 to 5 times late its ok we will adjust it but here most of all day in a month train is late because of that travellers are in trouble to get the office and there destination in time. Every day it is not possible to get late excuse in an office not possible. In harbour line most of the PANVEL and CST trains frequency also very poor other wise we can choose early trains. because of this trains non punctuality we get bad impression in office and also we have financial losses. who are the responsible for this. please highlight this problems and take an action as early as possible. Now a days the rush in PANVEL AND CST trains are increasing but rialway not doing any action please increase the frequency in harbour line and make punctual services and make the service satisfact to the travellers and i hope you will take care of our problems and take an action to solve this issues.

In handicap; local train in CR small bogey to much Rush I cant Carry my office-bag there is no self put my bag and also there is no up side, holding a some handle i should not hold my self; my request is only little ; kindly up date self on small baggies and also holding handle up side please

    Travelling in trans harbour to belapur due to change in time table is very difficult. Especially for ladies because most of the trains are till nerul or Vashi. If boarded nerul than moving to belapur from nerul using harbour line train becomes a very challenging task. Almost impossible bcoz of already crowded harbour line trains which has only 9 coaches. If boarding at Sanpada, its equally difficult due to same reason. Also trains are mostly late by 20-25 min. So, if boarding train at thane on time still we are late for belapur. This is everyday. All fast trains cancelled. ladies special cancelled which was important for pregnant ladies. For all our commuting problems Local railway authorities are responsible. If they would have not changed trans harbour time and trains we would have not faced such pathetic situation. Shame on such authorities who do not this realistic and not at all think about common commuters.
    Very worst, third class service provided by indian railways.7:33 AM CST local train from thane station came on 8:00 AM in Thane station.I am going to office late.We have private job which is having risk.
    Why railway giving preference to Mails, passengers, express trains.Why you are alighting Latur express, Duronto, Punjab mail daily before local trains.
    Give preference to Mumbai local trains.Because peoples of Mumbai local trains going to office daily.
    Very bad, worst, third class service.
    Also another bad issue is that when fast train is coming near to station then it takes 5 to 10 minutes to reach station platform daily.Then why it is called fast train.Then there is no use to say "Fast Train "Comparatively slow train is running normally without any delay.
    Why not you are solving your technical problems permanently.You can solve this problem urgently.Daily peoples are cursing you.You are cheating with peoples.
