The complaint is marked as resolved when a company has responded to the complainant, addressed his or her dissatisfaction, and came to an agreement where both parties agreed that the complaint is indeed resolved. However, a complaint can be automatically marked as resolved if a complainant isn't responding or updating a complaint for 30 days after the company has tried to reach the complainant.

Bribery

Chennai Traffic Police just stops 2-wheelers randomly and despite maintaining a perfectly well-conditioned 2-wheeler, they create a fake 'emissions' test. They distract you and before you can see what is happening they tell you that your 'test' is 'rejected' which is supposed to mean that it failed the test. Aren't they supposed to give you the measurements? How can a 'test' fail without measurements?...

Traffic Signal Down

Hi,

The traffic signal at Mugappair Collector Nagar (Near Madras Medical Mission) is down since October 2008. Signal is not working till date.

Even though there is a Police Station (JJ Nagar Police Station) very near to this junction, no police officials are there to control the traffic. Once in a while we can see some police constables sitting or standing near the signal and do nothing.

Bribery Atrocities

Hi,

Today (12/2/3009), me and my friend were caught by a few traffic police men for a signal violation and not wearing the helmet. The Sub-Inspector in charge Mr.Chelladurai quoted a number of sections and said that the overall fine was Rs.1, 500/-. When we refused to pay he lowered the fine to Rs200/- and asked us to pay it. When we asked him a receipt for it he refused to give us a receipt for the same.
