I reside at Shipra Sun City. There is no power from 27/07/09 9:00 pm to till today evening i.e. from last 24-hours. The power supply company is least bothered to rectify the problem. I rue my decision to live at Shipra Sun City. Apart from regular short supply of electricity, entire underground cable of Shipra has rotten like anything and it goes burst on daily basis but nobody is interested to sort out the mess.I just fail to understand who is looking after the maintenance of external electricity sytem? whether it is Shipra management who has got defunct(it seems) or UPPCL.

    Worse situation of SEB power availability in Shalimar Garden Ext 2, Sahibabad
    I am a resident of from Shalimar Garden Ext2, Sahaibabad. My complaint is regarding excessive power cut in the area. Present Power situation is extremely bad. Power is available only for 3-4 hours a day & this situation has gone from bad to worse in the last two months. There is no timing of power cut. We had taken up this issue many times with the concerned JE, Mr. Khan, but in vain. Most of the time he is not available. If available, his only answer that power cut is not in his control. All residents are of the firm opinion that there is a nexus between the J.E. & small scale illegal induatrial units. All nearby areas are getting proper power. Also there is a nexus between the Genset operator & the J.E. In this are, a guy operates a Genset & provides power to hundreds of houses @Rs 1000 per month for 200 W per house. This all is happening in the knowledge of police, electricity deptt.
    I am not willing to give my accurate address as I have fear that my life will be made miserable if your J.E. will know my residence address.

    I hope that my problem may be looked into & addressed. I a writing this with lots of hope.

    Fullly agreed...

    Since last few days we are not getting power suply at all...
    I totally agree with the situation but we are totally helpless, protest in front of power distriubution center would not be the solution. We need to take this in front of the media like Aaj tak, Sahara, or India TV etc. They can definitely play a good role in helping us to take our voice to the right authorities. From my end I am trying to search the right route to raise this issue in front of the electronic media.

    Still the problem remains... is there a logbook of power cut that they maintain and is open to public. We should file an RTI as to what is the process to covey Power Cuts, and if there is a cut, who authorizes and who logs it down .

    today BJP President Mr Rajnath Singh has visited to shalimar garden to sort out the problem but i believe BSP has taken it other way and problem of power has become worse to worst. there is no administration...
    I am afraid that our electricity is routed to industries and we are facing load shedding.!!!

      This is Vivek from Miyapur Hyderabad. The Problem is there is a power cut off everyday morning at 10am and the power comes back at 6pmin the evening and some times the there is no power in the Night at 12:00am or 1:30am. When we make a call to the concern A.D ([protected]) A.E ([protected]) there is no proper response give. So I kindly request Times of India to Publish this news and help us.

      Totally agree with Vivek on this. We do not have power in Mayuri Nagar from 7:00 PM last night. Its shocking to see that no one is bothered to act on it when there is no power in an area for more than 23 hours.

      power cut — Power cuts in vaishali

      Dear Sir

      There is a long hours power cuts in vaishali. Also when power is there voltage is too low that even fans can not run properly. Now when summer season is on full stream some relief from these power problems must be there.

      As said the place really sucks ! I have inlaws who are sr citizens and my FIL is heart patient.
      Also I have a small baby at home. The power cut really tests our patience .

      but my first doubt is - is this site any useful. is anybody looking into these complaints ?

      Dear sir, I am a resident of Munirka,South Delhi. I want to express my point because of long hours power cuts. After every two days there is a power cut in our area. Today i.e. 5 th nov there was a power cut from 9.30 morning to 1:30 afternoon. I dont understand the reason behind it. Weather has changed there is no huge requirement of electricity nowdays,No AC's are working,then why there is 3-4 hours power cut? Sometimes I feel so bad bieng a resident of Delhi.the capital of India who cannot supply continuous power supply. 3-4 hours power really means something. We are not living in village.You must do something....this is not acceptable at all

        I am Sandeep Suresh Amrute. I am staying in Dehugaon, Alandi Road, Omkar Society, tal- Haveli, Dist- Pune.
        I am sending this mail behalf of my all neighbores.
        We are facing the problem of frequent power failure since last 8 to 9 months at above mentioned address. We complaint about it to our village's MSEB office. But they have not any action about it.
        But last 3 days we are suffering more about this problem. Once the power fail, it goes for a long time and when we reach the office nobody is there. And nobody take the reponsibilty of this. Yesterday i.e. 27.02.09 power went at 6.30 PM and came at 8.30 PM again It went at 9.30 PM & came at 9.00 AM on 28.02.09.
        And other places there is no power failure like us. In front of my house there is Power & in my hose & others house no power.
        I request you please help us & do the some action about it.

        Hi Sandeep

        I am from Dehuroad and have reported the similar problem at https://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/mseb-dehuroad-c164727.html I am not sure if Dehogaon is also controller by same Dehuroad division.

        I already spoken to Mr Shewalkar (Jr Enginner, Dehuroad), Mr Shewalkar (Section Enginner) but found no luck in getting the problem solved. Unfortunately either these people are helpless or simply ignore the consumer problems.

        But the suffering people like us should unite and raise the voice against these people at higher level.

          We the people of Mehrauli area are facing the problem of power cuts on daily bases.. We have made Madam Sheila Dixit won the honourable post of delhi's chief minister thrice but I think it's worthless.. I mean if in winters we are facing a power cut of almost 3-4hrs a day then i can easily guess how our summers are gonna be!! Perhaps, it is a small issue to delhi govt officials as they dont face such problems BUT AT LEAST THEY CAN DRAW SOME OF THEIR PRECIUOUS TIME TO THIS BIG ISSUE AS IT'S OF GREAT IMPORTANCE TO A COMMON MAN..
          Would like to add a suggestion.. At least in winters if power cuts are so necessary then the govt can make it at nigths..

          i also refer to these people who atleast complaining...because in my opinion all person who linked with or associated with power suppply or even the authority they all are bloody ...they all fools...these politicians and the their community they all M...!!           I am a resident of Balaji Market, Ward No-6, Mehrauli.. Here I really don't understand that on what basis the power cuts are made.. In Mehrauli.in and around the area of PEEL KHANA, WE ARE FACING THE POWER CUT PROBLEM FOR ALMOST 8-10 HRS A DAY.. It is certainly of no doubt that I am complaining about this because I already made its prediction in the winters while making a power cut complain.The elections are recently completed and the GOVT SAYS INDIA IS PROGRESSING.. Does a country progress only on the basis of GDPs??? Are facilities to a common man of no relevance in the determination of progress??? I don't say at all that the the govt has done nothing good.. It has... But while enjoying their lives of gifted air conditioners the ministers just cannot know how we go through this miserable hell on a daily basis.. I dont say that the solution is to abuse the govt but to make them realise that they are not rulers.They are just the servant of the country and the public and thus they should serve us well...
          Furthur, I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST TO STOP THESE POWER CUTS OR DECREASE THEM TO A LARGE EXTENT ON IMMEDIATE BASIS SO THAT INNOCENT PEOPLE ARE NOT PUNISHED...
          POWER IS NOT COMING REGULARLY ON RAJNAGAR PART 2 AREA.

            Dear Sir,

            With reference to the above, we would like to submit our humble requests to you due to continuous power cut in the colony.:-

            1. The Electricity Supply is just 0-3 Hours in a day.
            2. It basic needs of a people, we cannot survive without electricity.
            3. People agile more than 60 have to sleep atleast 6 to 8 hours to survive and without electricity supply they are unable to sleep and consequently their health is going bed to worst.
            4. The entire colony face security problem at high risk.


            People living in NCR i.e. very near to country capital and getting only 3 to 4 hours electricity supply in a day, is really ashame for them as well as for the country. It is our humble request to you, please arrange to short out the problem at your level best so that we are able to get undisturb power supply.

                this is regarding a case of rudge behaveier and harassment from local JE of hastinapur, distt meerut u.p.On 14th sep'08 a group of 6/7 men led by local j.e entered in our home on the pretext that electricity was being theft from us.all had tried everything and did not left any corner of house to search but they have not found any anything.eventhough they were abusing and thearten my mother aged 55yrs who was only present that time.they forced my mother ot sign a blank document.she tried to convinced that when nothing was illlegal then how she can sign, they thearted to face consequenies if she have not sing.but when we have not done anything wrong then how she could sign and accept her fault.they got more harss after that and forcefully taken away whole of cable with saying now they would lodge a police complain, which they lodged in same evening itself.they also objected that our meter was properly sealed.

                i'm a officer in force and presently posted with PRIME MINISTER SECURITY in delhi at PMO.the connection in on my fathe sukh beer singh name.we are regularly paying bill and the rep of electricity is constantly visiting our house for meter reading and nerver objeted anything whcih clear thier aim they had targted us with the reason only known by them.

                I fully agree with this case as the Electricity departments in UP has many loopholes and the Officers & SDO's in charge are not paying attentions to consumer grievances. The officers incharge of the local linemans are unable stop electicity theft as the local linemans also support the actual culprits who steal power and to show a report for power theft they grab innocent peoples. They are not concerned of any consumer rights and think consumers as an object to assault.

                The counsumer is paying his bill on time and fulfilling all his obligations for the electricty dep. but inturn no one is concerned about the mischief the local linemans and other staff form elcectricty board o[censored]P are doing.

                Please do something to stop this hooliganism.
                All departmental, this type of corrupt people are begger and wants money by hook & cook, they are not sincere for his work and conduct. The Govt. is helpless for this type of poor system.
                Every election they needs vote -
                regarding basic needs of electricity, water, roads and travelling problem,
                after 60 years we do'nt have toilets.
                Says that we reach at Moon.

                Sir,
                we are doing a small business in a shop, from 2006 febrauary 3rd, with a legal agreement for two years with Rs.50000/- advance with a rent of Rs.2300. after two years we gave her the old documents and gave 10, 000 extra for advance and Rs.2700 rent, which they demanded us, and gave the new documents as per the increased rent and advance, she denied signing the agreement and she didnt gave the old documents to us. we didnt have a copy of that agreement, and now in 2009 jun 9th she said that we want to repair all our four shops, in which one of the shop was our's and told to vacate . we all the three memebers denied going and they started the work, they removed the old doors and power supply meters . after two days they had given power to the other two persons who were residing beside us. and they didnt gave power to us. upto one month we stayed at shops without doors at nights. after one month she kept doors for the other persons residing beside us and she refused to kept the doors for us. because she increased again advance for RS 40000. and rent for Rs.1300.so totally the advance is Rs.100000.and rent is Rs.4000/-. we are unable to pay such a huge amount and we said give time for us we will search for a new shop and we wil vacate yours.she denied giving time and she said u must vacate now itself. now we are staying in that shop only without doors and power supply, we went to police station and said the matter to sub inspector of police, he said that it is a civil matter and we cant do anything. another day i went to assistant Engineer of APCPDCL office. he said i cant give u power supply its the matter o[censored] both owner and tenant.THIS IS THE MATTER.Who will do justice for us? Please please please give me suggestion for this sir... waiting for your reply...we want power as soon as possible. can we aplly for new meter?or tell me the way how we can get power.
