I had invested in a policy with Max New York, policy No.[protected] BEFORE 8 YEARS, premium Rs.5000 /annum. Rs.40000/- for 8 years As per details provided by advisor policy having 3 years lockin period, after that i can get atleast premium paid amount or more according to the market value, without any surrender charges. With above condition i agree to take policy from them thinking that it will give good return after 8 years, but today...

I have sent mail to service helpdesk and not recieved any reply. Premium shown on maxnewyork login is Rs.5792.90 due on 31/07/2012. I have made complete payment on 18/08/2012 which is much before the grace period i.e 30 dyas. However, I have recieved message stating i need to pay Rs.229 inclusive of late payment fee and my policy is in lapsed state. could someone help me to understand this. i am attaching the screen shot...
