I have applied for new passport in passport office at varanasi in Jan, 2007. I have mentioned my permanent address of varanasi. At the time of police verification I was in Haryana ( I came here for some personal work). Due to which police has written in their report that candidate not reside in varanasi and he is living in Haryana. 1. I am an Army Officer. I have Incom -Tax PAN card which has my Date Of Birth. It is an official document issued by one department of Centre Govt.

This is regarding the Chennai passport office Phones, While applying passport, they will give some land line numbers to know the status of your application the numbers are[protected],[protected],
but if you are trying to call to know the status of your application, all the phones are not working condition , if one phone is working it says its busy the whole day. i think all other phones are they kept in busy, I have tried 7 days...
