I have been charged RS 11.5 for using my debit to pay fuel worth of Rs 500 from Shell Petrol Pump, Hunsur Road, Mysore for two times now, by ICICI bank. I do not understand on what account this Surcharge is charged. As per the government declared policy, at no point should the consumers be burdened with the MDR charges. These ought be shared between the banks, the oil companies and the fuel station Outlets.

I have very bad experience of refilling petrol in my bike at shell petrol pump at bangalore (Shell brookfield road, ssr enterprises). I asked them to put full tank, since my bike have 8l of fuel capacity. They filled 12.83 litres (957.12). Really got shocked how it possible 4+ liters are occupied in tank. I have used my debit card a number of times to pay the fuel cost.
