Byjus — byju's learning device for class 9 student - receipt no. tnl[protected] | |||
Hi, On july 21, 2019, i purchased byjus learning package for my daughter who is in class 9. On august 2, 2019 i placed the request for cancellation of my order. Till the time of cancellation, the product was not delivered to us. Byjus people started chasing us to accept the delivery as we had refused to take it after the cancellation request. The byjus team member assured that the product could be returned even if we accept it. Frequent phone calls forced us to accept the delivery though we had already requested for cancellation. Now byjus's financial partner iifl has been running after us to pay the first emi applicable from october. I tried to explain that we have already cancelled our order 3 months ago, we are not liable to pay any emi. I also informed iifl that byjus's has assured during the tele conversation i had with girish (Senior manager from byjus bangaluru office) on 26th oct. That we do not require to pay emi. After a very long communication, finally my cancellation request was accepted by byjus and refund of advance payment is approved. We have sent the product back by courier to byjus bangaluru office. Now, iifl is running after us and forcing us to pay first emi of rs. 3079 which is not a liability of ours. Therefore, it is my humble request to iifl to pl stop chasing us regarding the payment and contact your partner (Byjus) for clarification and update on our account.
