Byju's — refund of advance amount of rs.9500 | |||||
I am writing on this platform after complaining on byju's helpline number and through emails to byju's support. Byju's did not respond to any email and their customer care executive said they have no idea how my complaint will be resolved. On 16th september, 2019, byju's representative mr. Nishant nigam, employee id 21819930, came to our home for counselling. His tab was not working so he took test of my son on his mobile phone. He offered byju's premium for classes 7 to 10 for an amount of rs.92, 800. We paid rs.9500 as 10% down payment. This payment was made via google pay to his personal google pay account. Message received from the bank and receipt is attached for your reference. Yesterday, i got a chance to talk to our some friends who told us that they have bought this package for rs.70000, one has bought the same package for rs. 58000 without tab. My husband called up mr. Nigam yesterday and told him about the price difference and asked for a refund. Mr. Nigam told him that he has not yet punched in office and will return the money today i. E. 18th september. When we tried to call him today, he took the call around noon after several attempts and said he was sleeping. He said that the company will return the amount.in respone to my husband's message regarding refund he wrote 'its nice to see that the parents of delhi have a mentality like this'. The transcript of his message is also attached. Then i called up their support helpline and narrated this incident. The support executive asked me whether i have received any confirmation message or call regarding payment from byju's. I told them i have not received any such call. She told me to write an email with all attachments and apologised on behalf of mr. Nigam. Around 4:30 pm, one mr. Shantanu kakkar from byju's called my husband and told him that mr. Nigam has deposited the money in company's account and mr. Nigam has done wrong by quoting rs. 92, 800 and the actual cost is rs.84, 500. My husband told him that the mobile number registered with byju's is of my wife and that he should talk to me. Then mr. Kakkar called me up on my registered mobile number and said that he will send another representative who will quote minimum amount. When i declined, he tried to convince me to not write an email as it will not serve any purpose. I request you to kindly raise my complaint and help me in getting the refund amount of rs.9500.
