Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation [CESC] — wrong meter reading & excessive bill amount | |||
Sir, I am a consumer (Consumer id: [protected]) of cesc limited, kolkata and i am very much astonished to see the electric bill of may, 2019. The bill shows the total unit consumed 1054 of may, 2019 amounting to rs. 9890/-, whereas in april, 2019 it was 42 unit. It is totally ridiculous. The bill shows on 22/04/19 (Previous meter reading date) meter reading was 11570 and on 22/05/19 (Present meter reading date) meter reading is 12624 but when i checked the meter reading yesterday evening, i. E on 01/06/19 it shows 11642. How is that possible!!! I think the meter inspector not take right meter reading. Due to excessive meter reading the bill of may, 2019 displays the net amount of rs. 9890/- which is beyond my paying capacity. So, i request you to kindly look into the matter to not to pay the excess amount.
