Sir, I am Gnanavel. Last year, I bought a gold loan from your bank. Last month, that loan period was completed. Due to central government demonetization policy, I am not able to arrange the money for fulfill the loan. But I said “I am able to pay interest amount for that loan” to the bank employee. But they said “you should pay full amount to finish the loan”. Last week, they send me one letter. In that letter, they mentioned “if you are not able to pay the amount, come to the bank for discussions”. So I went to bank for discussions on 23.12.2016. on that day the bank manager and employees told me “your interest gone to double time. So you should pay the double interest with full amount”. I told them “due to demonetization, I was not able to pay the full amount with interest”. They can’t hear my words. I maintain a account for 15 years in this branch. This is the common problem for our people in today’s situation. And also, in this branch I was not able to communicate employees with the Tamil language. So I can’t able to tell my problems clearly.
