Canara Bank — Debit card expired. Poor serivce from Canara Bank.

I came here to share my thoughts about this worst bank. My request was so simple, I need to get new debit card for my expired card. Unfortunately, I have lost my bank pass book and I thrown exp card before few months as it was expired.. 2 weeks back I have gone to bank to apply new debit card, they said they want expired debit card or bank pass book to process this request. I said I'm the account owner and I'm here then y u need the waste of book. The bank guy told me, how can I believe u that u r the account owner. I said driving licence and pan with me u can verify it as well. But still he says can't then I came to conclusion, that I can't arguing with him any more then came home.

Today I went to the same bank again after 2weeks with the copy of my previous debit number which is in mobile. So I thought I can apply for the debit card atleast today. But what they said today, I can apply after 2.30, so I need to come at there timing to apply for simple debit card. OMG what the hell is happening in this world. This is such a worst ever bank I seen.. My questions are : why you haven't send new debit card after the expiration?

2. Why I want to come bank at 2.30 to apply debit card? Who will pay for my LoP?

3. Employees in your concern are elderly people they doesn't know how to behave with customers. They are so arrogant so we are at the situation to make quarrel with them always.

4. Since I asked those questions to them now they asked me buy a paper from shop to write a letter to request for new debut card. They are now revenging me. Ha Ha never mind. Hereafter don't want the debit card, coz planning to close the account.

5. Please help me with closing my bank account. I don't want to carry things further. Because I don't have time fight with u all ppl. I, m exhausted .

All these are happening in urappakam Canara bank branch.

I have savings a/c with canara bank, I applly for net-banking operation
and generate a user ID but fail to get password due to OTP, which is essential
for password creation is not reaching on my registered mobile no.
My saving a/c no[protected] with Durgapur branch wes-bengal.
