Dear Sir/Madam,
We need your support regarding the cancellation of my Health policy purchased from Care Health insurance company.
Actually, I was obliged by the customer service team of 'Care health insurance company' to buy their health policy and they called me many times so I bought their policy without thinking on 28th Sep-2021. But after the next day I realized that I need to cancel my policy and wanted a refund of my paid amount.
So I had submitted my cancellation request on 29th Sep-2021 to customer care number by phone call and via email (see my trailing email for reference) and I was informed by the health care team that my cancellation request will be completed in the next 10 working days without any cancellation charges as I have requested for cancellation with in free look-up period..
But so far approx. 40 days have passed, in between I have sent many reminders to insurance company to cancel my policy. Today again I called to customer service team and they told me my cancellation request has been proceeded with 25% deduction in paid amount (approx. 14000/- Inr). I asked customer service team to give the reason for deduction even I raised request within free look up period (next day after policy buying) then he told me as per company policy deduction will be there as you used policy for 3 days. I am surprised to here this statement and not convinced. and I requested them to give me reason of 25% deduction via email in written. I have sent many reminders but they are not responding on my email.
