[Resolved]  CBSE — CBSE agency for Capacity Building Programme, Track Society for Social Welfare, NOT PAYING RESOURCE PERSONS: Dr. Inchie Lonial

Address:Meerut, Uttar Pradesh

Respected Sir/Ma'am I, Dr Inchie Lonial (PT), joined Track Society for Social Welfare, Meerut, as a Resource Person for Capacity Building programmes for one-day workshop for Inclusion and Inclusive Strategies (A5). I conducted 3 workshops for them, one at Champions School, Meerut on 29 June 2014, second on 27 July 2014 at BVPS, Kotdwar and the third one at Maharana Mewar Public School, Udaipur on 7 September 2014. On our last meeting until which everything was cordial, I asked the head of the society Capt. Rajat Varma about my payments for which I was told that he's received it from CBSE but has not got time to calculate it. Then, he fixed up a workshop for 6th October at Step by Step School, Udaipur, to be conducted by me, for which he did not ask my convenience prior to finalising the dates. He even booked train tickets for the same, for which I called him up and expressed my inconvenience in view of it being a Monday and a working day at my own center. He got irritated during the conversation, however I agreed to do it. After this conversation, he sent me an email giving suggestions regarding what changes we could make to the Inclusion presentation for the upcoming workshop. I asked him to send me the final presentation we did at Maharana Mewar, so that I could edit accordingly, which he did not. I called him on 18th September 2014 to inform him that I had received a mail from a school to conduct a workshop soon, he did not receive the call. Despite repeated messages and requests to talk frankly to me in person, he did not revert. I wondered why he was doing so I visited the school he runs at 10, New Mohanpuri, Meerut. I requested him to just give me 5 min so that I could know why he was behaving so. We were in a formal relationship so I expected him to be respectful enough, but he made two girls sit inside his cabin before I could speak, so that I couldn't speak at all. This humiliation was too much for me to take. He had no concrete reason for doing so or his inappropriate behaviour. If it was some problem with my skills as a resource person, he could have refused me politely, though I very well know our presentation was according to CBSE expectations including Inclusive Strategies also from Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and National Institute for Mentally Handicapped, Secunderabad. I am too busy running a Child Development Center, so I don't expect anyone to behave like this. I have still not been informed whether I am supposed to conduct the 6th October workshop or not. I told him that I don't wish to continue with him. I have spent money on fuel, travel, besides the genuine payment of my workshops. Seeing their insincerity, I have definitely decided to part from them, but I request CBSE to force them to make my deserved payments and take due action against them for such indifference. I just hope that CBSE will understand my situation and help me be paid in time, or else he's taken the easy way of discontinuing communication I contacted CBSE on phone and had a word with Mr. Gyanendra who I believe handles the training programmes. He told me that Track Society has already been paid by CBSE for the month of June, for which I have still not been paid. Rest, he told me that for the months of July to September 2014, payments are going to released. My point is not that I receive my payments early or late, just that I should not be wronged this way. Will such a society not harm the credibility of CBSE? Awaiting a reply, Regards, Dr Inchie Lonial, 'Sarthak...Enkindling Hopes' Child Developmental Center, 787 Tilak Road, Begum Bagh, Meerut - 250001. Mb no [protected], email: [protected]@yahoo.com
