This is regarding the school admission for my kid in "DAV Adambakkam School" (Sree Nandeeswarar Campus Adambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Contact Office : 044-22603544). We have given a request letter to the school for an admission for both my kids (II std - U.Kaviya Varshini and LKG - U.Pranav Adhithya). My younger kid got selected for LKG on 1st Mar15 and the fees intimation was informed to remit the fees within 2 days from the announcement date. While the written test was conducted for my elder kid for II std and the result was published on 29th Mar15. After the selection announcement, we were trying to meet principal to explain the situation but we were not allowed to meet and was told to pay the fees within the cut-off date. Considering the situation and was very confident on my elder kids admission, we paid the fees and was waiting for the test for my elder kid. Unfortunately my elder kid was not selected. I have/had met Education Director 3 times to get an admission for my daughter too but were informed that she cannot be admitted. As an outcome of this we were not able to admit both the kids together in same school. In due course of my efforts we got the admission for my both kids is other school. As on out come of this i approached DAV school requesting them to refund the fees money which was remitted earlier. Without any option, I have requested them to refund the fees Rs. 53, 500/- collected towards my son's LKG selection (Fees break up, by DD-241327, Rs.14, 520/- and by Cash Rs. 39, 000/-). We have not received the bills and do not have the break up of this collected fees. Education Director advised us to meet principal regarding the fees refund. Till this date 10th June we are not able to meet them nor there is any communication from school. I have sent an letter to Principal (Mrs.Geetha) requesting for the refund through register India Post (1st time B RT122209204IN, dtd. 30/04/2015 and 2nd time B RT140909914IN dtd.19/06/2015)) and also went directly to school for more than 20 times in addition to 100s of calls. We have been neglected and did not got any proper reason. I have requested them that there is no loss for the school, as many of the kids are still waiting for an admission and even, I have also agreed to be leived a term fee or the charges to some extent but not the entire amount of Rs.53, 500/-. Request you to intervene and help.
