CBSE — Regarding schools not following ncert books guidelines

Address:Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, 482002

Sir, major schools are not opting ncert books for class 1st to 12th. They prescribe their own books and book sellers. The book costs very high, as for class 1st i bought books for rs 3025/-. Total 10 books, is it correct. The childs are over burdened, no ncert book in the syllabus. Ncert prescribe only 4 modal books, because for child proper development overall activities required. Not a only books purchasing make it a good performer. If central schools can follow ncert books and they are far better than these private school, so why these schools are not opting ncert books. I have seen ncert books they are highly better than these books with nominal rates and complete. Childs are highly burdened which effect future performance as overall. Kindly pay attention to this.
Thanking you

Most school are using private books and ncert books are not there for all subject. I had books purchased for my kid studying in St. Francis School, Indirapuram. Class VI books cost more than 4000 rs. It loot. Please see this is controlled.

Thanks

Vidya bharati school, surya nagar ghaziabad is affiliated to cbse. My daughter is in class 5th and i have attached the cost of the books. Moreover they change the books every year so that the parents can't even borrow from old students. And in addition to that the books are not better than the ncert ones. They cost almost 5 times the ncert books. Parents are under burden during the pandemic but they have to abide by the schools rules at any cost. I don't understand why these are granted affiliation if they can't even follow the study materials. Is it all about making business and looting people? I don't think these activities are advantageous for anyone except the private publishers and the school which acts like a broker
