This is letter is in concern with the developing usage of english in hindi film without providing apt subtitles. To be precise in the movie 'paltan' english was used but to my dismay there were no subtitles. We promote hindi as a means of communication whereas quite objectionable is the lack of subtitles in an english conversation. The aim of reaching out to every commoner is lost.
