[Resolved] Central Board Of Secondary Education [CBSE] — About army public school kolkata not following guidelines.
Good morning, I am a student of Army Public School, Kolkata. Due to the pandemic there was the conduct of classes online all year. Being a grade 11th students our final exams are on March 8th in an offline medium. Our school did not take any consent from the parents nor students regarding the same. They put the responsibility of the student's health directly on the parents. I am well aware that according to the CBSE and government guidelines schools have to take consent and provide and option between offline and online exams which our school has not. When we students raised this issue in the class whatsapp group the setting was changed to only admins can text. Which is extremely disturbing, the school cannot have any right to silence genuine concers of students and parents. Due to the dilemma and anxiety I have reverted to complain about our school to you in the hope of some action. We all students humbly request you to take action regarding the same as our school is taking decisions on their own forgetting that students and parents must and need to have a say in such major decisions taken by the school. Thanking you. Yours truly, Class 11th students APS Kolkata. Was this information helpful?
