Cinepolis India — refund not given through show was cancelled long before the ticket was booked | |||
I have sent this complaint on 5th may but nobody bothered to contact me nor has the issue got resolved. I had booked 2 tickets for a movie – vinci da show time 05:05 pm on friday 3rd may 2019 at cinepolis: acropolis mall, kolkata (Audi 2). The tickets were booked at 2:32 pm on 3rd may 2019. Ticket amount – rs 380/- quantity -2 tickets. Internet handling fees-51.92 Booking fees 44.00 Gst 7.92 Confirmation#2186230 Booking id wbe8fn7 That day as per the instruction of the wb government as a security measure all malls were asked to close down at 03:00 pm due to cyclone “phani”. This decision was taken the day before or during the early hours of the day (3rd may 2019). However, you all did nothing to update the booking portal. At 2:32 pm when i booked the ticket through “book my show”, i as a customer was not aware of the mall’s decision to close business at 03:00 pm nor did you update a pop up in the portal which should have shown shows have been cancelled as a security measure, when i was booking the tickets. My tickets got booked successfully & also a sms was triggered to me confirming my booking. When i reached the premises i found the mall was closed and only then did i come to know that this was decided from the very start of the day. Now can you please advise why did you accept a booking when you already knew the shows were cancelled. As a company you surely have a responsibility towards your customers.
