Citibank — delays, excuses and total lack of responsiveness | |
Citibank India has shocked me lately! I submitted a request for a new debit card (as I had lost the previous one) and was given a commitment that I am going to receive it within 4 business days. Today is the 6th business day and I have absolutely no clue where it is... I have made multiple calls but to no avail. I tried reaching them through a link on their website which apparently (not for real!) reaches the desk of 'Head Customer Care'. It took me 2 emails to hear from them and the response that I got was so lame and just not meeting my expectations. Having a relationship manager is a sham (I had one!) and it's only limited to selling products. When you go see your account details, you will see the details of your RM and SM ... But guess what? That only holds optical value. I continue to get a run around from them and nobody, I repeat nobody, is willing to take accountability to give me a clear response. Is the end near for Citibank??? From my credit card No. [protected] 1.88 CAD was transacted unauthorized. I have not given my PIN/OTP to anybody. The said transaction was done out side India and I was very well present in India Only as I have undertaken any foreign trip during the last 10 years.
