I submitted my passport (Web File # USAN[protected] for a visa application to the New York CKGS office, and they received it on July 5th, 2014. On July 10th, 2014, they received the passport back from the consulate. Since then, they have not dispatched my visa application and passport to the courier service to be sent back to me, even though I have paid for the service in full. In fact, each of the six times I have called them, they claim that the package would be dispatched within 24-48 hours, which was obviously a lie. Each time, nothing happened, and they sent an email to the dispatch team, who apparently disregard emails. It is now July 22nd, 2014, and the visa application and passport are still being held at the New York office against my will. It does not seem that they will send my passport to me anytime soon, even though they advertised the service, I have paid for the service, and that they have cashed the money order already. It is very apparent that each employee that I have talked to either 1) does not know what is going on, 2) lies to my face about everything, or 3) doesn't care enough to even attempt to do anything about the situation.

It seems the consulate is not willing to make our life simpler.

I have taken the initiative to write to each of the below individual who HAVE TO HEAR US NOW else we will have to cancel our plans to visit India in the future with the pathetic CKGS consistent issues.

WE NEED ANSWERS !! Visa on arrival is not much of help either and getting a VISA from CKGS is more painful activity.
