[Resolved] Cleartrip — hotel booking comfort inn vadodara 26 dec checkin | |
On nov 19, 2019 while booking accomodation at hotel comfort inn vadodara for 5 guests (4 adults and a child) through hdfc bank netbanking, after providing the credentials, i got an error message and i did not get any booking confirmation. But the amount has got debited from my bank account. The error message said, if the amount has been debited from my bank account, the transaction status will be confirmed to the merchant, in this cleartrip, the next working day. Next day, on 20th nov, 2019 i called hdfc customer care and they confirmed that the transaction was successful. But now i dont have any way to cross check with cleartrip if the booking is confirmed. I did not receive any email from cleartrip. If i call cleartrip customer care, the ivr asks for trip id. But in my case, i dont even know if the booking is confirmed and hence i dont have a trip id. Please confirm, if my booking is successful and share the confirmation. Nov 27, 2019 Complaint marked as Resolved I also posted a message in the facebook page of cleartrip. Immediately they responded by sending the trip id. WIth that I was able to speak to customer care. They assured that after 4 days the money will be refunded as the booking did not go through at all.
I have got the money recredited to my bank account.
