[Resolved]  Cleartrip — How Clear Trip Plans to Make a Refundable ticket into Non Refundable Ticket at the customers expense

PNR 2RHMRA | Air India AI-879 | DEL-IXB | Departure time: 1100 on 15SEP The flight has been cancelled by the airline. Note: In case if you are not comfortable with the above option, we would request you to please call the Airline or Cleartrip call center within 48 hrs from this mail being received. If we/Airline don’t receive any confirmation from your end within the stipulated time, the airline will consider the changes as confirmed and accepted by you. In case of any changes after that, relevant charges will be applicable as per airline rules. I contacted your Dubai office immediately after I received this notification and advised for a full refund as no option was provided by the airline AI. I was advised to wait for 24-48 hrs for a response from AI and cleartrip said they would contact me. Now I am starting to get responses from your representatives like "if the airline agrees" meaning cleartrip is still clueless up until now. If the above alternate option is convenient for you we request you to revert with your acceptance to re-issue the ticket. [B]However, in case if you wish to cancel your reservation as per airline you shall be eligible for refund for only New Delhi - Bagdogra sector.[/B]In order to claim full refund from the airline we request you to cancel your reservation with airline directly . In such case refund will take 20 - 25 working days.[/B][B]NOW FROM BEING A FULLY REFUNDABLE TICKET THE INTERNATIONAL SECTOR BECAME NON REFUNDABLE OR I AM "MISUNDERSTANDING" MY ENGLISH MIGHT BE BAD[/B]I called cleartrip DXB office immediately and they still need time. Now I am kicking myself that I should have let go of the cancellation charges and have the ticket be cancelled earlier

As per our records, your booking has been cancelled on 09th Sep'14 and we have already initiated to arrange for an endorsement from the airline for full refund.

We shall get back to you once we receive the same to process full refund to you.
Abhay Subba - Further to our reply, we have processed full refund from our end today and you shall receive the same within the next 5-7 business days.
