Club Mahindra Holidays — false commitment and cheating by club mahindra | |||
Hello, I am writing this email to express my concern and grievance on the new membership i bought from club mahindra. My membership id is 2891731. Mr. Shailesh ayyagari (Club mahindra sales person) visited my home on 20th october 2019 at my home to explain/sell me the membership. From here on i believe that he is representing the company and what he said was coming from club mahindra. I trusted the brand name and thus club mahindra sales person what he mentioned. I will go ahead and mention the sequence of events from here on. My payments details are as follows: - on 20th october 2019 i paid 1 lakh on the spot via my icici debit card. I signed the application form, which i do not have the copy yet with me. - on 21st october 2019, i paid another 2 lakhs via imps transfer to club mahindra account. - on 22nd october 2019, i received another 1, 84, 740 to the club mahindra account. On 20th october, here is what i was promised (In addition to the discounts in membership cost), which mr. Shailesh wrote everything in his handwriting on a piece of paper (Attached picture of the paper). - i will get 1 night in addition to 7n/8d package every year (That is for all 25 years). This will also reflect in my membership profile. - i will get additional 7n/8d for first 5 years from club mahindra. - i will get discounts on partner hotels bookings (Club m select) for all 25 years. - i was never explained that i was being told the prices for studio accommodation, i clearly mentioned to mr. Shailesh that we usually go for holidays with my sister's family (2 adults and 2 children). My family has 2 adults and 1 child. I was told this is not a problem and upto 8 adults there is no problem at any point of time, i can redeem full 7n with both families. I also disagreed to the same on e-verification link i received (I am attaching the pdf from that verification). No one has approached me asking why i disagree. - during verification call, i objected to the caller (Please ask your caller, she had to call me twice because of this) that i was promised 8n for all 25 years, mr. Shailesh called me in between two calls and told me that please say "yes" for now, 1n will be added later on when he will come to my place for demo (Which has never happened) and it will show 8n each year in my account. - today, i spoke to mr raghu (Mr. Shailesh's supervisor), i asked if these promises are not fulfilled, i will need my money back. He mentioned that the locking period is 10 days, beyond which the refund is not possible. I was never explained about 10 days period plus i do not have signed copy of application yet, where i could read the terms and condition in details. Your sales representative took original and the copy along with him after getting it signed. - in my conversation with mr. Raghu he mentioned that additional 7n/8d for 5 years and 1n for each year (25 years) is not possible.in my understanding, this is a cheating and false promise from a big brand like club mahindra. Given, i do not have the signed application form yet and since the promises are not fulfilled, i would like to request for refund and cancellation of the membership.
