Me and my brother girish kumar earlier had a zest mahindra holiday membership for which annual maintenance charges were not paid for 3 years and membership was not in use. The club mahindra team approached us and convinced us to convert the zest package to club package with additional charges. They transferred some part of the zest amount which we had paid to club package and we too accepted as it was attractive.. They made us pay inr 40000 as down payment and converted the rest into emi if 8700 for 36 months. We did pay the first emi but later found it difficult as we got hit by financial crisis and hence stopped from 2nd month without even using a single benefit from company. And then informed club mahindra thru call as well as email that we want to cancel the membership. We were expecting that since we had not used the benefits, at least the down payment would be returned but club team told us that this is not possible as per their policy. Now this was never explained to us and secondly it doesn't make any sense. We just either need the down payment iao 40000 back or transfer the down payment and emi back to our zest membership and make that active so that we can use it or the last option is to provide us with free packages or night worth 40000.
