[Resolved]  CLASSIC CLUB & RESORTS — irregular response

The classic clubs and resorts is a classic Cheating group from which a person made a telephone call to my number (My Number is DND Enabled) and attracted me with loads of offers and facilities by saying that they offer me if I become a member. I came to know all of their statements were fake and lies once I started calling them for Resort Rooms Reservation after paying them through my Credit Card.

The below are few of the amenities which was said to be offered for a lifetime member by the classic club resort team

1. They said Actual Membership Fee is Rs.43000, but they offer it for Rs.18000, still further they reduced to Rs12000 Lifetime Membership (25 years) to accomplish their Monthly Target
2. Promised to convert this transaction into 12 or 24 months EMI Installments with the bank as they said they have tie up with many banks like HDFC, ICICI, etc (This was not converted yet).
3. Free AC Conference Hall /Party Hall for Member to conduct events and functions
4. Free Indoor games like Carom, Snookers, Badminton, etc to play
5. Free Swimming pool for Adults and children
6. Free Video games like Play stations for playing
7. Utilization of Massage Parlor – Male to Male and Female to Male at75% discounted rate (Apprx. Rs.250 for 60 mins)
8. Free AC Bar, Smoking /Non Smoking with free side dish 2 nov veg and 3 Veg.
9. Beer at the rate of Rs135 and Hot Small Rs 85.
10. One Beer free for the purchase of 2 beers
11. Magic shows and Stage Plays Free Tickets (3 to 5 tickets) every Month if not any cinema tickets will be given as a replacement.
12. Free night stay for 15 nights per year (every year) in their resorts in split up or consolidated as per my wish and only utilities bills will be charged for 16th night onwards (apprx 1250). Allowed to take in different installments within a year.
13. Rooms with tied up Resorts upto 50% discounted rates with Amenities like swimming pool, games etc.
14. Discounted rates upto 20 % in many amusement parks like MGM, Queens land.etc
15. Apart from the above 3 Nights and 4 Days resort Stay with free Food (Breakfast and Dinner) every year.
16. They said they are constructing many Resorts at Ooty, Kodaikanal they have offers and discount in them
17. They said Member can bring 6 family members or up to 10 Friends to the resort to utilize the rooms and amenities in there.
18. They have 720 Hotels tie up in which they can get discounted rates for Rooms upto 30 % and Restaurant 20% .
19. They promised me to make a confirmed reservation for a room in their ECR on 1st May 2012 before I go for the membership (they did not do in any of the resort for that day later)
20. They said what ever above mentioned will be there in Welcome kit
21. They said Rules and regulation form is just for formality they are getting sign from me. They said they will repay the money in 90 days if the service they provide is not up to satisfaction.


Second time when I called them they said it will be done only after the membership card is received by the member.

No welcome kit as such was sent by them rather a member ship card alone with a letter was sent by them.( Ref point 20)

Then after receiving the membership card I called them to make reservation in their Tambaram Resort or ECR resort purposely on any day they said ECR resort is under construction and for Tambaram resort I have to pay the room charge for first 10 nights the Rooms are free .This is conflicting with the 12th Point above.

When I asked for the member ship cancellation they said it is not possible to refund the money.(ref point 21)

The mobile phone numbers of the Executive who came to get my card swiped (Karthik Ph: [protected]) The Manager (Charles Ph : [protected]) to whom I spoke to through out the transaction, are switched off now.The customer care number[protected] often un attended and if attended the response is not trust worthy.

My Transaction 18000 Rs is not made in to EMI yet( I checked with the SBI bank). This made me to lose trust on them.
