Cognizant — cognizant offer - under review (no update on the job offer even after a verbal offer given by the hr during the interview process)

On 01-dec-2018 i had given the interview for qlikview developer at bagmane tech park, bangalore.

The interview process had 2 technical round. I had cleared both the technical rounds. The final interview process was the hr discussion. Post the feedback given to the hr team by the technical interviewer, i was given a verbal offer by the hr (Name - keziah wilson) and she had informed me that it would take around 2 weeks to get the offer by email.

But, on 21-dec-2018 i received an email saying that my application is under review and has been kept on hold. This was shocking to me because i was given an offer by the hr (Name - keziah wilson).

I sent a mail to the hr (Keziah wilson) mentioning the details of the interview and the offer.

At the time of the interview, keziah wilson was my poc for the profile. But when i had sent a mail to her she had re-directed the query to another hr (Name - vaishanvi) mentioning that vaishnavi is the poc for hiring qlikview/qliksense job profiles.

I sent multiple emails to both the hrs requesting for an update on the offer.
Till now didn't receive a single update about the offer from cognizant.

It is really disappointing to see that an mnc like cognizant is not capable enough to manage the recruitment appropriately. I do understand that many factors come into picture when hiring an individual.

But giving a job offer after successfully clearing the interview process and not committing at the end is highly unprofessional.
