Columbia Asia Hospital — Complete Wrong Information in Pre Auth Approval form filled by the Doctor

SERIOUS ERROR BY DOCTOR AT PALAM VIHAR HOSPITAL

My father PUSHPENDRA KUMAR GOYAL was admitted to Columbia Asia Hospital, Palam Vihar, for dehydration, loose motion and fever. He has a SCA 12 patient and on bed for last 2-3 years.

We admitted him to the hospital on 10 Nov 16. Doctor at Columbia Asia filled an incorrect information and dignosed him with Thalamic Stroke, a neurology issue and submited to Star Health for Approval.

The investigating officer from Star Health came to our room for checking; he has carrying some documents provided to him by the hospital which shows that the patient had Blood Pressure and Diabetes and we told him that patient does not have these medical issues and is admitted for fever, loose motion and dehydration. Later, the report came out and my father diagnosed with Chikunguniya fever.

Wrong Information on the Pre Auth Form and other documents led to the suspicion to Insurance authorities and they reject the claim.

I personally talked to Dr. Amitabh Ghosh and he was surprised to see height of error by a lady doctor who do this documentary work. The lady doctor in my presence accepted her mistake and said by error another patients details were filled for PUSHPENDRA KUMAR GOYAL and then wrote a clarification letter in order to re consider again by insurance company.

I talked to insurance and they plainly rejected on the ground that how come a doctor can do SUCH STUPID mistake.

I will sue Columbia Asia for such negligence of error for Rs. 1 crore and take strong legal action against them
